As the famous cultural city with the long-standing history in Northeast China region, Huang Longfu was used to be the significant strongpoint for which the ancient minority regimes in Northeast China have been contended for. It was once the king city of Fuyu in Han and Jin Dynasties and was then called Fuyu city in Balhae period. Afterwards, it was renamed as Huang Longfu in Liao and Jin dynasty. The crucial strategic location of Huang Longfu has attracted the attention of governors, which also led it to be the vital metropolis of politics and economy in Northeast China. However, on account of the fluctuant regional development in Northeast China, the local chronicles of Northeast China lagged behind the central China in terms of compiling time and quantity, resulting in much too simple contents and severe incompleteness phenomena. As a result, indiscriminate use phenomena occurred in some local chronicles that multiple regions located Huang Longfu within their own boundaries. The reasons for indiscriminate use phenomenon of northeast local chronicles can be described as two aspects. One is historical cause. The insufficient document literatures, frequent regime transfers in northeast and multiple other factors, lead to chaotic and vague historical document records, which has serious impact on compiling work of local chronicles. The other one is realistic cause. As local chronicles develop the functions of recording local politics, economy and cultural development, in the process of compiling local chronicles, local governments transfer those historic spots into the native place artificially to develop cultural industries and gain more popularity. Various kinds of factors can cause the indiscriminate use problem of local chronicles.
