Recently,because of rural revitalization and popular tourism,the construction of characteristic towns rises nationwide.But in the development and construction of some towns,due to pursuing economic benefits,using commercial templates,lacking clear brand positioning,thus ignoring integrating the unique regional culture of the town,it results in the monotonous design of town brand image and homogenization problem.Taking Zhenzi Town as the research object.Firstly,a theoretical review and analysis of regional culture and brand image design of characteristic towns is carried out.Secondly,through the field investigation method and the literature collection method,a comprehensive survey is conducted to understand the past and present life,to analyze the development status and existing problems of Zhenzi Town’s brand image,so as to carry out targeted research of Zhenzi Town’s regional culture,which combines and demonstrates the application value of regional culture to prepare for the following brand image design theory research based on the town’s brand identity system such as brand logo,guide system,specialty packaging.Thirdly,through the design theory discussion combined with excellent case analysis at home and abroad,four application methods such as symbol application method,environmental integration method,highlighting interest method,and scene bringing method are summarized,and regional culture is applied to the brand image design.Finally,relying on the application method,the norm summarizes the principles of regional cultural inheritance,brand image difference and universality that the regional culture should abide by to support the application method and maximize the application value in the process of brand image design.The relevant application methods and application principles will be applied to the brand image design of characteristic towns according to different regional cultures,which will provide certain theoretical guidance for the future brand image design practice,and also help the dissemination and development of regional culture,and provide theoretical reference and case support for the related topics of brand image design of regional cultures in characteristic towns later.Figure 51;Table 8;Reference 51...
