Experiments On Machine Translation Quality Evaluation Based On Multidimensional Quality Model Through A Case Study Of Medical Texts

In the 21 st century,rapid progress has been made in machine translation methods and quality.At the same time,China has also made many important technological breakthroughs in medical technology.Especially in recent years,the academic exchange between medical industries has been increasing.In the post-epidemic era,medical cooperation between countries,academic exchanges between doctors and medical assistance to underdeveloped countries have become extremely crucial and indispensible.During the epidemic period,thousands of lives were saved through international medical cooperation.In terms of data,in 2020,the number of drugs imported from overseas reached US $35.7 billion,and the amount of medical devices imported reached US $12.4 billion.In this situation,a huge demand for import corresponds to the same need of medical texts.In other words,with the development of foreign advanced medical technology,there is also a large demand for professional translators.However,not all medical texts need to be translated manually,while many medical texts need machine translation in order to increase work efficiency and meanwhile reduce the pressure and cost on translators.The research questions of this report are: 1)What types of medical documents need machine translation? 2)What type of machine translation platform is suitable for medical documents? 3)How is the efficiency and quality of machine translation in the medical field?...
