SPOC,a new model that has emerged after MOOC have returned to bland status,is known for being a niche,restrictive online education.SPOC hybrid teaching model has been developing rapidly in various disciplines in recent years,but it is rarely used in international Chinese teaching field.Especially in the field of Chinese character teaching,the teaching of Chinese character in the traditional classroom is also lagging behind.In this context,this paper uses literature method,comparison method and questionnaire method to design and practice the primary Chinese character teaching classroom based on SPOC mixed teaching mode.The aim is to explore the mixed online and offline teaching classroom of elementary Chinese characters and provide reference for the reform of elementary Chinese characters.Based on the theories of constructivism and ubiquitous learning,this study analyzes the specific application methods of SPOC mixed teaching model.The teacher-led,student-oriented concepts and the convenience of current electronic communication are all in line with the application of this model.At the same time,the feasibility of SPOC mixed teaching model in primary Chinese character teaching is discussed from many aspects.The findings are as follows:(1)SPOC mixed teaching mode is suitable for the primary Chinese character course;(2)According to the five steps of SPOC teaching,the design of Chinese character teaching is more hierarchical;(3)SPOC teaching tool can help teachers quickly collect feedback from students,complete teaching closed loop,and form wisdom classroom.Now that the epidemic has passed,overseas students have returned to offline classes.However,a large number of online teaching practices show that SPOC mixed teaching mode is of great help to improve teaching quality and cultivate students’ self-learning ability.These findings have reference significance for other course types and specialized courses,and also have reference value in specific Chinese character teaching practices.The shortcomings of this paper are as follows:(1)teaching practice period is limited,teaching effect is not obvious;(2)There is a large gap in the Chinese level of the experimental subjects.Some students only understand the basic knowledge of stroke and stroke,but have difficulty in the overall writing of Chinese characters.Finally,the article also reflects on the shortcomings in the teaching process and expects to improve and supplement in the future teaching.
