The development of modern educational technology has promoted the promotion and popularization of online teaching.How to maximize the use of online teaching resources and give full play to the advantages of online teaching is a universal problem faced by the Chinese teaching community.On the basis of combing the research results of SPOC five step teaching model,this paper comprehensively uses various research methods such as questionnaire survey and interview to explore the applicability of this teaching model in the middle and advanced Chinese listening and speaking class.It is verified through teaching design and specific teaching practice,and strives to explore a teaching model that can effectively improve the teaching effect of Chinese listening and speaking class and cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability.The thesis is mainly divided into the following six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the purpose,significance,main content and research methods of the topic selection,combs the research status of SPOC five step teaching model at home and abroad,and lays a foundation for further research.The second chapter defines the connotation and extension of SPOC five step teaching mode from a theoretical point of view,discusses in detail the outstanding characteristics of SPOC compared with MOOC through comparison,and discusses its characteristics in classroom teaching in combination with the specific content of the five step teaching mode.The third chapter discusses the applicability of SPOC’s five step teaching model in intermediate and advanced Chinese listening and speaking classes from the perspective of the nature of the course and the advantages of the teaching model.The intermediate and advanced Chinese listening and speaking course combines listening and speaking,aiming to cultivate learners’ listening and speaking ability.The methods of creating situations,asking questions independently and solving problems with the help of their own experience in the SPOC five step teaching mode are conducive to enhancing the interest of the classroom and cultivating students’ ability of independent exploration.Cooperative learning can also improve students’ speaking rate in the classroom and cultivate their ability of team cooperation.The fourth chapter is to investigate the current teaching objects and teaching needs of the middle and advanced listening and speaking class through questionnaires and interviews,so as to understand the current teaching situation of the middle and advanced listening and speaking class.Through sorting out and analyzing the data and interview results,we can find the problems in teaching,understand the learners’ learning expectations,and take this as a reference for teaching practice to construct a more reasonable teaching organization form and classroom management method to meet the learners’ learning needs.The fifth chapter is the specific teaching design and practice.It uses the SPOC five step teaching model to design the teaching of intermediate and advanced Chinese listening and speaking class,and applies it to the specific teaching practice to verify the practical application of the SPOC five step teaching model in the intermediate and advanced Chinese listening and speaking class.The sixth chapter is the evaluation and Reflection on the specific teaching practice.It mainly evaluates and analyzes the teaching effect from the two aspects of students’ evaluation and teachers’ self-evaluation,and puts forward corresponding teaching strategies for the problems found in the teaching evaluation.Based on the theoretical analysis and questionnaire survey,this study has carried out teaching design and carried out specific teaching practice.Through teaching evaluation,it is found that the application of SPOC five step teaching model in the teaching of intermediate and advanced Chinese listening and speaking can not only increase the interest of classroom teaching,improve students’ learning initiative,but also effectively improve students’ autonomous learning ability and communicative ability.
