Gaomiao Culture Researc

The Gaomiao culture is mainly distributed in the western Hunan region and the upper reaches of the Xiangjiang River in the upper reaches of the Yuanshui River.The geomorphic features are mountains and valleys,which are relatively closed geographical units.So far,there are dozens of sites of Gaomiao culture.The officially excavated sites mainly include Gaomiao site in the upper reaches of Yuanshui River,Songxikou site and Zhengxikou site in Chenxi County,and Qianjiaping site in the upper reaches of Xiangjiang River.In view of the fact that such relics have been found in many places and have a certain distribution range,among which the Gaomiao site was first discovered and the most typical,so it was named Gaomiao culture.The main content of this paper is to explore and study the age and stage of Gaomiao culture,the regional type,the interaction between Gaomiao culture and the surrounding archaeological culture,and the origin and development of Gaomiao culture.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first part is the introduction.Clarify the reason for the topic selection and the research object.Through the research and analysis of the literature,the discovery and research trends of Gaomiao culture are reviewed and sorted out in detail,and the shortcomings of the research are pointed out,and the author’s research content and methods are explained.Finally,it defines the time and space of Gaomiao culture.The first chapter is the study of Gaomiao culture by stages.With the existing research results as a reference,it analyzes the typical sites of Gaomiao culture,and stages the culture according to the method of pottery typology.Through the comparison of pottery and the carbon-14 dating data,it constructs the stage and chronological framework of Gaomiao culture.The second chapter mainly discusses the local types of Gaomiao culture and their respective origins.According to the current integrated study of all sites,Gaomiao culture can be temporarily divided into two regional types:Gaomiao type and Qianjiaping type.From the perspective of pottery type and decoration,the early stage of Gaomiao site is quite different from the early stage of Qianjiaping site,and the early stage of Gaomiao site does have factors similar to the transitional stage between the late stage of Pengtoushan culture and the early stage of Zaoshi lower culture,The early Qianjiaping site is similar to the remains of the fifth stage of Zengpiyan in the the Nanling Mountain Mountains.It is speculated that the two sites may have their own origins.Through a systematic comparison of the differences between the two sites,combined with typology and cultural factor analysis,the sources of the two regional types are studied and analyzed.The third chapter mainly analyzes the relationship between Gaomiao culture and surrounding culture.Based on the upper reaches of the Yuan River and the upper reaches of the Xiang River where the Gaomiao culture is located,this paper analyzes the interaction between the Zaoshi lower culture,Tangjiagang culture in the Dongting Lake basin and the Datang culture and Gaomiao culture in the Xiang River basin.By comparing the pottery forms of several archaeological cultures in the same period,we find that there are many similar cultural features,and there may have been different degrees of cultural exchanges between them.The fourth chapter is a summary.This paper summarizes the research results of this article and points out the shortcomings of this article.More in-depth and specific research needs to be updated.
