In the twenty-first century,when digital technology is making great progress,the Internet,as the earliest and most mature digital technology,is closely connected with people’s clothing,food,housing and transportation,etc.The huge group of Internet users has played an important role in boosting the new mass communication based on the Internet.With the continuous change of media forms,short video,a new era of integrated media integrating graphic,video,voice and other media styles,has successfully seized users’ time by virtue of its short,frequent and fast characteristics,and become a new communication method popular among the public.As the most popular music short video software with more than800 million users and a huge traffic pool,Tiktok has attracted attention to the phenomenon of national style dance,which is a fusion of typical features of Chinese traditional culture and has repeatedly become a hot topic on this platform.In this paper,we use the 5W communication model of Lasswell and the L&S hierarchical effect model of Robert J.Lavidge and Gary A.Steiner to build the article and research framework,and use a combination of case studies and questionnaires to study the communication effect of the short videos of Chinese dance on the Tiktok.The article is divided into five chapters.The article is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 focuses on the analysis of communication channels,with a brief overview of the communication mechanism of traffic push and content matching on the Tiktok;Chapter 2 focuses on the communication subject and the content of communication,as the mobile Internet era involves three levels of communicators: account,account contributor,and account operator,so this part not only includes the analysis of the communication subject,i.e.Chapter 3 starts from the perspective of the audience,and uses a questionnaire survey to understand the audience’s attitude and feedback on the Tiktok’s national dance videos,and uses the statistical analysis software SPSS to complete the quantitative analysis of the dissemination effect of the Tiktok’s national dance videos;Chapter 4 based on the communication status and questionnaire survey results,points out the problems existing in the communication of short video of Chinese style dance on Douyin platform.Chapter 5 puts forward specific optimization suggestions and implementation measures for the existing development problems,and puts forward relevant references for the dance communication in the age of digital media.
