Since the Tang Dynasty, there has been a case of quoting Chu Ci in Shang Shu works of all dynasties, and this phenomenon was most concentrated in the Qing Dynasty.Shang Shu is a selected edition of "book" documents, which is derived from many "book" documents.Chu Ci came into being during the period when "book" documents were widely spread.During the period when the contents of Chu Ci were gradually enriched,Qu Yuan was very likely to come into contact with "book" documents or the source documents of "book" documents, which directly or indirectly affected the creation of Chu Ci.The prevalence of plain learning in the Qing Dynasty often exhausts ancient books and records to interpret scriptures. The above factors make the citation of Chu Ci in Shang Shu academic works of the Qing Dynasty have more reasonable internal and social reasons. In the text of Chu Ci cited by Shang Shu academic works in the Qing Dynasty, there were some characteristics such as excessive concentration of references to Chu Ci,single annotation content, imbalance of overall citation ratio, and most Shang Shu academic works cited from Chu Ci were concentrated in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, which also coincided with the development of plain learning in the Qing Dynasty. The deep reason for the frequent citation of Chu Ci in Shang Shu academic works in the Qing Dynasty is the interpretation purpose of textual research in the Qing Dynasty and the broad academic vision of scholars in the Qing Dynasty. The value of the citations of Chu Ci in the Shang Shu academic works of the Qing Dynasty is reflected in its value of historical materials and the exegetical value that the Shang Shu academic works of the Qing Dynasty only chose to use Chu Ci to annotate some contents of Shang Shu. |
