The original text is extracted from the Chapter 1 of Branded Content: The Fateful Merging of Media and Marketing,a book written by Jonathon Hardy. As informative text,it mainly describes the constantly changing relationship between media and marketing communications driven by branded content. In this paper,I attempt to explore translation problems from vocabulary, sentence and discourse. In terms of features typically associated with the text, this study focus on compound words, attributive clauses and anaphora. To do so,literal translation, omission and reverse translation are first used in the translating process of compound words, which are made up of noun and participle.Thereafter, the translator discusses three solutions for attributive clauses, including combination, division as well as mixing method.Lastly, there is a need to demonstrate the anaphora that frequently appears in the context. The report aims to provide some reference value for similar types of text, bringing some implications to the current research.
