The Application Of Shenzhou’s “Rough Brush” Landscape Painting In The Creation Of Yunmeng Village Series

Since its birth,the landscape painting has been affected by the changes of times and people’s aesthetic level all the time.At present,people pay more attention to the exploration of new forms of modern landscape painting creation.But their understanding of traditional landscape painting art is decreasing day by day.Good traditional techniques are the solid foundation for painters to carry out artistic creation.For better development,we must first understand tradition and pick up its essence.With his outstanding artistic achievements and personality,he is regarded as one of the painting elite—“the Four Masters of Ming”.His unique expression of the artistic conception of landscape painting,which is vigorous,frustrated and gloomy,led to the new trend of landscape painting in Ming Dynasty and promoted the development and the reform of landscape painting.Since Ming Dynasty,there have been countless researchers.The research results have a far-reaching impact.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies,the author will conduct in-depth research on Shen Zhou’s “rough brush”landscape paintings.The author takes the northern landscape as the creative theme,selectively learns from the research results,and finally completes the creation of professional master’s graduation works and the writing of master’s thesis.This paper includes three parts.The first part expounds the purpose and significance of the research,and the review of relevant research at home and abroad.The second part summarizes the social environment of Shen Zhou,the periodization of representative works of “rough brush” landscape painting,focuses on the artistic characteristics of “rough brush” painting,and summarizes the basic laws of his painting language.The third part selectively draws on the basic characteristics of each element in Shen Zhou’s “rough brush” landscape painting style summarized above,and combines it with the northern landscape landscape to carry out the creative practice of the graduation work.
