Shen Zhou as the leader of four painters in the Ming Dynasty, founder of the Wu Men painting, "as the first contemporary painting”. Shen Zhou not only at the time of the famous painting, poetry is also very popular. Life in the mid Ming Shen Zhou’s childhood by the edification of family condition, well versed in poetry and painting, but more than only in the study of family, has to worship the artificial division. The works of Shen Zhou in different periods from different dynasties, many painting thought influence of the Wu Dynasty Dong Ju and four painters in the Yuan Dynasty. Influenced by the mid Ming Dynasty, the social environment at that time, Shen Zhou reading is not an officer, and lead the development of literati painting in this period. Shen Zhou is kind and humble, dating wide. Abortive Shen Zhou is in his later years of life experience in the painting style of Shen Zhou wind more gloomy old, also left a lot of immortal works.This paper mainly takes the landscape painting of Shen Zhou old age as the research direction. From writing, painting career with "Shen fine" and "coarse Shen".In this paper, a total of five parts to analyze the artistic conception and the language of Shen Zhou’s landscape paintings. The first part of the main topics of the source, research purposes and methods, as well as domestic and foreign research status quo.The second part through culture background of the medium-term of Ming Dynasty, respectively from the Shen Zhou at the time of life, social, modeled on a variety of factors to form analytical Shen Zhou’s painting style. The third part mainly for late Shen Zhou landscape painting, in order to analyze the representative forms, respectively from the theory of “theory of six principles of painting”of Xie He and compared with the early works of the two major aspects of analyzing Shen Zhou landscape painting esthetic ideal condition and the pen and ink form. In the fourth part, Shen Zhou not only since the Yuan and Ming literati painting is a link between the past and the future, but also has a great impact on the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and many modern painters. The fifth part, through the study of Shen Zhou’s spirit of ink, combined with his graduation and painting experience, and finally to create a summary.
