This paper aims to improve the oral communication ability of elementary students and explore the applicability of communicative methods and elementary Chinese oral teaching,with the teaching target of students at a higher level of elementary level.By reviewing materials,conducting teacher interviews,and conducting student surveys,we aim to understand the current status of the use of communicative approach and the attitudes of teachers and students towards its application in teaching.At the same time,this paper combines the communicative approach teaching theory with the "Experience Chinese Speaking Tutorial · 4",analyzes the teaching content and designs teaching activities using the communicative approach teaching theory,and summarizes the advantages and problems of communicative approach in the application of primary Chinese speaking teaching as a foreign language based on actual application situations,and proposes corresponding solutions.This provides reference cases for the development of communicative approach and the combination of communicative approach and primary oral teaching materials.This paper mainly consists of the following parts.The introduction section mainly introduces the reasons for the topic selection,research objectives,research significance,and the current research status at home and abroad.It is clear that this paper is based on the communicative approach as the main teaching method and the "Experience Chinese Speaking Tutorial·4" as the textbook foundation,exploring how to combine the two to achieve the goal of promoting teaching.The first chapter mainly elaborates on the relevant theoretical knowledge of communicative approach.On the basis of the first chapter,the second chapter analyzes the feasibility of applying communicative approach to primary oral teaching from both theoretical and practical perspectives.Chapter 3 mainly conducts a survey on elementary level students and Chinese language teachers to understand their attitudes towards communicative approach,and designs teaching activities based on survey feedback.Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 respectively discuss the effectiveness of applying communicative approach to primary oral teaching by showcasing typical communicative teaching activities and student feedback,and provide suggestions on how to use communicative approach for activities.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that communicative approach is applicable to primary oral teaching.
