Wang Zengqi,as a writer spanning the two literary stages of "modern" and"contemporary",his "comeback" in the new period is of vital significance to the development of literature in the new period and the writing of modern literary history in the new period.The time lag between Wang Zengqi’s entry into the literary vision of the new period and his inclusion in the research scope of literary criticism in the new period makes the study of Wang Zengqi in the new period have an issue of "retrospection" and"recognition" from the very beginning.From the perspective of Wang Zengqi’s process of creation,the literary history’s writing of his "comeback" in the new period since the 1980s largely ignores the importance of Wang Zengqi’s experience in editing folk literature and composing operas.Meanwhile,it fails to establish a historical understanding of the"connection" between his folk literature creation,opera creation and novel creation in the process of Wang Zengqi’s "transformation" from an opera writer to a novel writer.In this regard,the relationship between Wang Zengqi’s "comeback" and the reconstruction of"modern literary tradition" needs to be further clarified。Therefore,this paper takes Wang Zengqi’s "comeback" and the reconstruction of"modern literary tradition" as the research object,and discusses it from three aspects by sorting out the phenomenon of Wang Zengqi’s cross-genre writing and related literary activities.First,through revealing the correlation between Wang Zengqi’s novel experiment in the early new period and the experience of modern opera creation,this paper restores the generation of Wang Zengqi’s lyrical prose novels in the early new period.Second,from the perspective of the creation of "literature in the new period",this paper takes Wang Zengqi as a participant in the narration of literary history,and explores the role of his rich literary practices,such as rewriting the old works of the 1940s and compiling the old works of the 1940s,in constructing the image of "Wang Zengqi" in the sense of literary history.Thirdly,from Wang Zengqi’s reshaping of Shen Congwen’s literary image and re-evaluation of Shen Congwen’s position in modern literature history,it explores Wang Zengqi’s reconstruction of modern literary classics in the new period.Returning to the historical context of "rewriting literature history",this paper uncovers Wang Zengqi’s narrative intention of reconstructing"modern literary tradition" in the new period.Furthermore,in the logic of Wang Zengqi’s cross-genre writing,it re-opens his novels’ understanding vision of "heterogeneity" and"different posture" of "literature in the new period". |
