| The construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt and National Cultural Park(hereinafter referred to as "cultural construction of the Grand Canal")is a major cultural project implemented by China in the new era.Cities along the line are important nodes in the cultural space of the Grand Canal, studying their cultural occurrence and spatio-temporal characteristics is fundamental work to promote the protection, inheritance and utilization of the culture of the Grand Canal. At the same time,as the integration of culture and tourism being an important task of the cultural construction of the Grand Canal, exploring the process and mechanism of tourism utilization of cities along the line based on their own cultural occurrence can also provide useful reference for the integration of culture and tourism of the Grand Canal.Based on these, taking 13 cities along the Jiangsu-Zhejiang section of the Grand Canal as an example, first of all,the theory of cultural capital was introduced to construct an indicator system to quantitatively measure the occurrence status of culture in cities along the line. Then, characteristics of spatio-temporal evolution of urban cultural capital from 2010 to 2019 were analyzed by using methods such as GIS and kernel density estimation.Secondly, combining the "Origin-Dynamics" hypothesis, and comprehensively using panel vector autoregressive model, text analysis, social network analysis,Geodetector and other methods,in-depth explored the characteristics, paths and mechanism of tourism utilization in cities along the line. Finally, based on the research conclusions, targeted strategies were proposed for the cultural construction and the development of culture and tourism integration of the Grand Canal. The research results indicated that:(1)On the whole, urban cultural capital had been increasing year by year, and the negative correlation between growth rate fluctuations and cultural capital led to an expansion of regional imbalance and a three-level differentiation. The proportion of the three forms of cultural capital tended to converge among cities, with solid cultural capital accounting for the highest proportion and having stable growth fluctuations, followed by flow cultural capital and marketing cultural capital with significant growth fluctuations.(2)In terms of spatial pattern,Suzhou and Hangzhou formed a "dual center".However,in terms of the spatial evolution of the three forms, there had been changes in the"dual center" cities.(3)The characteristics of tourism utilization of urban cultural capital were diverse and inherently related;and there were also differences in paths and trajectory differentiation of the evolution results of tourism utilization.(4)Urban cultural capital had a long-term lag effect of "increasing first and then decreasing" on tourism utilization, which was manifested in four aspects:internationalization trend, development of cultural and tourism industry, content density of paths and evolution results of tourism utilization.(5)Urban cultural capital was the origin factor and played a core role in tourism utilization;government support, economic level, industrial structure and urbanization level constituted dynamics factors;among which government support was the "motivation factor" to break path dependence, and the last three factors were the "hygiene factors". |
