Research On The Digital Exhibitions Of The Grand Canal Thematic Museums

Since the early 21st century,especially after the convention of the 18th CPC National Congress,Chinese museums has developed rapidly,showing an unprecedented prosperity.With the successful application of the Grand Canal for the World Heritage and the proposal of the strategic spatial layout of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt,the construction of the Grand Canal thematic museums ushered in an important development opportunity,and the digital display of the Grand Canal cultural resources gradually received attention.With the continuous innovation of the museum exhibition form in the post-epidemic era,the theoretical research and practical exploration of the digital exhibition of Grand Canal thematic museums is at the right time.By means of field investigation,online survey and literature review,taking museum science as the main theoretical background,combining with the knowledge of design,communication,tourism,computer science and other disciplines,this paper takes the eight major Grand Canal thematic museums that have been built and opened in China as research objects,namely Sui and Tang Grand Canal Museum(Huaibei Museum),Grand Jing-hang Canal Museum,China Water Transport Museum(Chuzhou Museum),Sui and Tang Grand Canal Museum,Grand Canal Digital Museum,China Grand Canal Museum and Sui and Tang Grand Canal Cultural Museum have conducted a comprehensive study of their digital exhibitions and related digital exhibition items,trying to analyze the adaptability of digital exhibition forms and the Grand Canal thematic museums in combination with the particularity of the Grand Canal thematic museums and the Grand Canal culture,then summarizes the mode and the type of digital exhibition of the Grand Canal thematic museums,and explores the path of digital exhibition construction of the Grand Canal thematic museums in the future.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part introduces the background,objects,contents,relevant researches at home and abroad,the significance and teh methods of this study as well.The second part explains and combs the connotation and construction stage of the Grand Canal thematic museums,divides the exhibition of the Grand Canal thematic museums into physical exhibition and digital exhibition according to the core exhibits,and discusses the internal reasons why digital exhibition is applicable to the Grand Canal thematic museums.In the third part,the digital exhibition of the Grand Canal thematic museums is divided into offline digital exhibition and online virtual exhibition,according to the display space.The offline digital exhibition is divided into physical exhibition and experience exhibition according to the interactive media of the audiences,and the online virtual exhibition is divided into twin exhibition and derivative exhibition according to its relationship with the offline exhibition.In this part,the exhibition mode and type,exhibition content and exhibition form of offline digital exhibition and online virtual exhibition are summarized and analyzed respectively,and the importance and necessity of digital exhibition form in the collection management,cultural communication and social service of the Grand Canal thematic museums are expounded.The fourth part summarizes the research contents of the article,and puts forward the ideas and prospects of building a dual visual exhibition,establishing an online and offline interconnection mechanism,and building a centralized research and display platform for the digital resources of the Grand Canal,aiming at the future development direction of the digital exhibition of the Grand Canal thematic museums.
