China’s Grand Canal is the largest and longest canal in the world.In Chinese history,the Grand Canal has promoted the exchange,integration and development of the Chinese nation.Since the successful application of the Grand Canal for World Heritage in 2014,the tourism development of China’s Grand Canal,a living heritage with special cultural symbols,has attracted more attention from all walks of life.Therefore,this study selects the Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal,which has the largest distribution of heritage,as the research object.Based on the heritage corridor theory,this study extracts the geographical coordinates of each cultural heritage location and carries out spatial positioning on the basis of various cultural heritage directories,statistical yearbooks,official website data and other materials of the Grand Canal Jiangsu section;Then,the nearest neighbor analysis,geographic concentration index,standard deviation ellipse and other geographic information system Spatial analysis methods are used to analyze the aggregation mode,spatial distribution density characteristics,temporal distribution characteristics of different types and levels of cultural heritage,and then combined with the hydrological,economic and cultural conditions of Jiangsu Province,explore its impact on the different spatial distribution of cultural heritage;Finally,the canal node city of Yangzhou was selected to study tourists’ satisfaction with the activation of Yangzhou cultural heritage tourism through a questionnaire survey.With the help of SPSS software,reliability and validity tests,IPA analysis,etc.were conducted on the current data of the activation path to analyze tourists’ perception of the current status of Yangzhou cultural heritage activation.Based on this,new ideas and basis were provided for the path of heritage tourism activation.Research findings:(1)The spatial distribution of cultural heritage in the Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal has a strong agglomeration,and its distribution pattern belongs to the agglomeration distribution;The degree of equilibrium has the characteristics of uneven distribution and similar cluster distribution;At the same time,cultural heritage of different types and levels are basically clustered in spatial distribution,forming the main core areas centered around Yangzhou and Suzhou.(2)The natural environment is the foundation for the generation of cultural heritage,while the human environment is the prerequisite for the existence of cultural heritage.River system,economic center,historical culture and other factors all affect the distribution pattern and composition of cultural heritage,which promotes the prosperity and prosperity of cultural heritage in Jiangsu section of Grand Canal.(3)Based on the characteristics of heritage distribution and the satisfaction survey of heritage tourism activation,according to the results of data analysis,four suggestions are put forward for heritage tourism activation in the Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal: implement basic work to realize environmental re living;Conduct regional optimization to promote urban linkage development;Accelerate brand building and improve creative innovation capabilities;Emphasize the display of authenticity and deeply explore cultural connotations;Prioritize digital activation to enhance tourist experience. |
