| In the context of a comprehensive revival of traditional culture,the Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the promotion and inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture,and clearly proposes to build a socialist cultural power by2035.The self-fulfilment of the cultural ecology of television is an important source of power to promote the realisation of a strong cultural state.A number of innovative and well-produced cultural programmes use the excellent Chinese traditional culture as a treasure trove and showcase quality cultural resources for the purpose of reviving and spreading traditional culture in the process of modernisation.This paper uses literature research,case studies and textual analysis to look at the new mainstream cultural programmes on screen from the perspective of cross-media communication.This paper uses literature research,case studies and textual analysis to look at the new mainstream cultural programmes on screen from the perspective of cross-media communication,and selects five representative examples of successful programmes from different cultural projects from 2013 to the present to support the analysis.The focus of the study is on four parts: Chapter 2 explores the dynamics of cultural programmes’ cross-media communication paths;Chapters 3 and 4 are based on the same logic,i.e.the cross-media shift in audiovisual media and the current dilemmas and opportunities for the survival of cultural programmes,reflecting on how cultural programmes can achieve self-control and breakthrough in both content and form;Chapter 5 is based on a review of the impact of cultural programmes in the specific format of television and screen.Chapter 5 is a review of cultural programmes’ practice of reviving traditional culture in the particular form of television screen and leading a new paradigm of social cultural reproduction,as well as a summary of the insights gained.Culture has always been a powerful driving force for a nation’s steady progress.Cultural programmes have responded to the demand for the revival of excellent Chinese traditional culture in the new era through cross-media production and dissemination,and have led the social practice of traditional cultural inheritance and development,truly integrating excellent Chinese traditional culture into the harmonious development of knowledge,emotion,intention and action,providing useful reference for the innovation of related genres in the future. |
