| The continuous growth of high school graduates,coupled with the impact of the new crown epidemic,college students are particularly difficult.Facing such a harsh situation,how to choose a suitable career has become a key issue of common concern for society,the government,universities and families.Higher vocational careers are important technical application talents.Their careers not only affect their own development,but also affect the development of social productivity.Therefore,reducing the career decision-making dilemma of higher vocational students cannot be ignored.Based on the ecological system theory and social cognitive ecology theory,this study starts from the relationship between the specific life course behavior of parents and career decision-making dilemma,introduces two intermediary variables of future work self and career decision-making self-efficiency,and introduces the model in the structure building chain Carrying out empirical research,expecting to provide effective theoretical and practical guidance for reducing the career decision-making difficulties of higher vocational students.The research results are as follows:(1)Parent-specific career behaviors demographically differed significantly in career support in terms of gender,grade,household registration,whether they had received career counseling,whether they had part-time work experience,and parents’ education level;career interference differed significantly in terms of whether they had received career counseling and parents’ education level;and career deficit differed significantly in terms of household registration and parents’ education level.(2)Significant differences were found in future work self in terms of grade,whether or not they received career counseling,whether or not they had part-time work experience,and parents’ education level.(3)There were significant differences in career decision self-efficacy in terms of gender,household registration,whether or not they had received employment counseling,whether or not they had part-time experience,and parents’ education level.(4)There were significant differences in career decision difficulties by grade,whether or not they received career counseling,whether or not they had part-time work experience,and parents’ education level.(5)Career support was significantly correlated with future work self,career decision self-efficacy,and career decision difficulty,and career intervention was also significantly correlated with the other three variables,and career deficit was also significantly correlated with career decision self-efficacy.(6)Parental career support negatively predicts career decision-making difficulties.Future work self and career decision-making self-efficacy not only act as independent mediators between parental career support and career decision-making difficulties,but also act as chain mediators.(7)Parental career intervention negatively predicts career decision-making difficulties.Future work self plays an independent mediating role between parental career intervention and career decision-making difficulties.Future work self and career decision-making self-efficacy play a chain role in the two.intermediary role.In order to reduce the career decision difficulties of senior students,this study proposes the following suggestions: from the student level,senior students should take the initiative to conduct career exploration,clarify the image of their future work in practice,and improve their confidence in solving work difficulties,so as to reduce career decision difficulties;from the school level,universities should focus on the learning of theoretical knowledge related to career courses,create on-campus and off-campus practice bases,and build a home-school integration system to reduce From the family level,parents should give their children more independent choices,improve their children’s decision-making ability and self-efficacy,or give their children career-related resources and advice as much as they can,so as to reduce the difficulties in career decision-making. |
