In this paper,the BOPPPS teaching model is applied to explore new ideas of Chinese teaching as a foreign language,hoping to solve the problems generally exist in Chinese teaching as a foreign language,such as single teaching methods and low participation in class.Based on the BOPPPS teaching model,taking Lesson 28--Courtesy is Light but Affection is Heavy in the third volume of New Practical Chinese Textbook,published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press as teaching content,the intermediate international students in Shenyang University as teaching object,teaching design and teaching analysis based on the actual situation of intermediate Chinese comprehensive courses are to carry out.With the guidance of BOPPPS teaching model to the practice,and the introspection of the application for BOPPPS teaching model,reference is to be provided for the teaching mode of comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language course and the front-line teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.There are altogether four parts in this paper.The first part is an introduction,which dominantly expounds on the purpose,significance,content and method of research,the current situation of research at home and abroad about BOPPPS teaching model,researches on intermediate Chinese comprehensive courses,as well as teaching Chinese as a second language with BOPPPS teaching model.The second part explores the application of the BOPPPS teaching model to intermediate Chinese comprehensive course teaching.First,the BOPPPS teaching model is summarized.Second,the application of BOPPPS teaching model to intermediate Chinese comprehensive courses is explicitly analyzed.The third part is the specific teaching design.After the relevant teaching factors are analyzed,the teaching process design is carried out,basing on the six links of the BOPPPS teaching model,then the teaching effect is summarized on the real course practice.The fourth part carries out teaching evaluation and reflection on the teaching design of this article,reflects on the shortcomings,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.
