With the rise of tablet science in the Qing Dynasty,a trend of calligraphic thought was set off to worship tablets and curb posts.Especially under the advocacy of ruan Yuan,Bao Shicheng and Kang Youwei and other tablet science theories,tablet school presented a prosperous situation in the theory and calligraphy creation,and the calligraphy style changed from a unique one to a hundred flowers.Until the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the opposites of the study of pastes and the study of steles converged,artistic creation had a broader vision,calligraphy style appeared a new look,and the reform of the tablet school of cursive handwriting is its product.From the great prosperity of the study of steles in the Qing Dynasty to the exploration of cursive calligraphy,yu Youren and Lin Sanzhi gave us historical enlightenment,their process of cursive calligraphy steles is not only the formation of personal style,but also the perfect embodiment of the artistic style of The Times.Based on this,this paper focuses on the calligraphy theory and practice of Yu Youren and Lin SAN,analyzes and demonstrates the style characteristics and the significance of The Times contained in the tablet school cursive script by using the calligraphy style analysis and demonstration,combined with the aesthetic category theory.This paper will discuss from the following aspects:First,the concept and style of calligraphy creation from the late Qing Dynasty under the integration of inscription and tablet,and analyze how this concept affects the creation of each calligraphy style and the birth of cursive tablet school.Second,yu Youren’s cursive writing and Lin SAN’s cursive writing respectively represent two aspects of the development of tablet school cursive writing,and analyze and compare their evolution paths and aesthetic styles.Thirdly,it discusses the aesthetic value and significance of The Times of tablet school cursive script. |
