| IntroductionWith the rapid development of economy and society,all walks of life pay attention to "performance" management to varying degrees.In peacetime,the people’s police force has suffered the most blood and sacrifice and great work pressure.As a direct embodiment of the executive and combat effectiveness of grass-roots police,work performance is an important evaluation index for the actual effectiveness of grass-roots units in implementing governance capacity.Its level is related to the improvement of law enforcement capacity of grass-roots public security organs,and directly affects the realization of organizational objectives and the improvement of police people relations.It is related to the long-term development and construction of public security team.Therefore,the research on the influencing factors of work performance has very important practical and theoretical significance.Mindfulness,as a hot research content in domestic psychology in recent years,has been proved to play a positive role in relieving stress and regulating emotion.From the perspective of mindfulness,this paper takes the work performance of the police as the result variable of the research,discusses the impact of mindfulness on work performance,includes two variables of psychological capital and work well-being,and explores its intermediary mechanism,so as to provide a reference basis for improving the work performance of the police and promoting the improvement of the quality of the public security police force.MethodsThrough the convenient sampling method,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on1146 police under the grass-roots public security organs in seven prefecture level cities of H Province.A total of 1036 online questionnaires were collected,of which 997 were effective,and the effective questionnaire rate was 96.23%.The scales used are: Five Factor mindfulness scale(FFMQ),psychological capital scale(PCQ-24),work well-being scale(WWS)and job performance scale(JPS).Descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis,regression analysis,mediation effect test and other statistical methods are used in the study.Results & ConclusionsThe results show that:(1)Police mindfulness,psychological capital,work well-being and job performance have significant differences in some demographic variables;(2)There is a significant positive correlation between police mindfulness,psychological capital,work well-being and job performance;(3)Police mindfulness,psychological capital and work well-being have a positive predictive effect on job performance;(4)Psychological capital has a partial mediating effect between police mindfulness and job performance;(5)Work well-being has a partial mediating effect between police mindfulness and job performance;(6)Psychological capital and work well-being play a chain intermediary role between police mindfulness and job performance.To sum up,police mindfulness can positively predict job performance.Both psychological capital and work well-being can play a partial intermediary role between mindfulness and job performance.And police mindfulness can be through psychological capital and work wellbeing The chain mediating effect of the two variables affects job performance.This study suggests that we can improve the level of mindfulness,improve the intensity of psychological capital,strengthen the sense of work happiness,and finally enhance the work performance of the police force. |
