PIB refers to the fact that ADHD children rate their own abilities much higher than external evaluators rate them,or that their own abilities are much higher than their performance on experimental tasks. This study consists of three experiments.Experiment 1 consists of two sub-experiments explored the self-perception level of ADHD children by using the SPPC scale and investigated the PIB characteristics of ADHD children on self-esteem by using supraliminal priming paradigm.Experiment 2 investigated the PIB characteristics of ADHD children on external evaluation by using supraliminal priming paradigm.Experiment 3 investigated the PIB characteristics of ADHD children on self-efficacy by using supraliminal priming paradigm. The results of experiment 1 indicate that:1)The SPPC scores of ADHD children is higher than that of the normal children in all dimension, and the self-perception level of ADHD children is higher than that of the normal children;2)The level of self-PIB in ADHD children is higher than that in normal children;3)Among different dimensions of self-esteem,the PIB effect level of ADHD children in moral dimension is the highest, followed by the appearance dimension and ability dimension;4)There is no difference in the PIB of others between ADHD children and normal children. The results of experiment 2 indicate that:1)In terms of external evaluation of PIB effect, the PIB level of ADHD children is higher than that of normal children;ADHD children are more optimistic and thought they are more likely to receive positive evaluation from others. While normal children thought others are more likely to receive positive evaluation from others.2)In terms of friend evaluation, teacher evaluation and parent evaluation, the PIB effect of ADHD children is larger than that of normal children.Among different dimensions of evaluation, the PIB effect level of ADHD children in teacher evaluation is the highest, followed by parents evaluation and friends evaluation. The results of experiment 3 indicate that:1)The self-efficacy of ADHD children in all dimension is significantly higher than normal children.Among them, the PIB effect level of ADHD children in social dimension is the highest, followed by life dimension and learning dimension. To sum up,the conclusions of this study are as follows:1)The self-perception level of ADHD children is higher than that of the normal children.;2)The PIB level of ADHD children is higher than that of normal children;3)Among different dimensions of self-esteem,the PIB effect level of ADHD children in moral dimension is the highest, followed by the appearance dimension and ability dimension;4)In terms of external evaluation of PIB effect, the PIB level of ADHD children is higher than that of normal children and the PIB effect level of ADHD children in teacher evaluation is the highest, followed by parents evaluation and friends evaluation;5)The self-efficacy of ADHD children in all dimension is significantly higher than normal children and the PIB effect level of ADHD children in social dimension is the highest, followed by life dimension and learning dimension.
