| In the 1970 s and 1980 s,under the cultural influence of the space-turning trend of thought,cultural studies and new cultural geography researches culturally turned”each other,gradually turning the research perspective to“space”,and combining it with media communication,combining the theory of space production and the Research content such as local social culture gave rise to media geography.As an interdisciplinary research,media geography is a methodology for thinking about space and place under the influence of media.“Internet celebrity city”,as a phenomenon of urban popularity promoted by social media,on the one hand demonstrates the significant role of the media in city promotion and tourism promotion,on the other hand,it also reveals the urban space,urban culture and Dynamic changes in residents’ lives.As the standard of measuring the attention of the Internet celebrity city,the network attention degree can be analyzed from the two aspects of time and space to the construction of virtual space.Based on media geography,this paper selects Xi’an as a case of Internet celebrity city to study the temporal and spatial evolution law and influencing factors of its network attention,which is conducive to exploring the shaping of modern city image,and then gaining insight into the construction mechanism of virtual space under the care of digital media.Media geography provides new research perspectives.Based on media geography,this paper adopts a qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze the construction and influencing factors of online celebrity Xi’an network attention on virtual time and space.In the research on the temporal and spatial dynamic evolution of Internet celebrity Xi’an network attention,in time,EXCEL is used to perform descriptive statistical analysis of network attention in different time periods,and in space,Arc GIS and Origin are used for spatial visualization,hot spot analysis and ranking analysis;In the analysis of the influence factors of Internet celebrity Xi’an network attention,interpretative analysis and mathematical statistical analysis are carried out on the time influencing factors,and SPSS and geographic detectors are used to calculate the spatial influencing factors.Finally,on this basis,combined with media geography,the Countermeasures are put forward for the construction of Internet celebrity city image.The following main conclusions are obtained:(1)Time evolution characteristics.From 2017 to 2019,the network attention of Xi’an continued to rise,and the annual growth rate increased significantly,which is closely related to promoting the tourism IP of Xi’an and Internet celebrity projects through the media.In the past three years,the network attention of Xi’an has changed during the year,showing 5 obvious peaks,namely summer vacation,National Day,Spring Festival,Labor Day and Dragon Boat Festival.The network attention of Xi’an shows an obvious “precursor effect”.In February,July and August,the network attention of Xi’an is relatively high;during the holidays,“May 1st”Labor Day,“11th” Golden Week,and the Spring Festival period are in Xi’an.The peaks of network attention appear in sequence: before the holiday or the first day of the holiday,the second or third day of the holiday,and the fourth day of the holiday.(2)Spatial evolution characteristics.From 2017 to 2019,the overall distribution of the network attention of Xi’an in the country showed that the eastern and central regions were high,and the western region was low,and the overall the network attention of Xi’an across the country was increasing,and Xi’an’s Internet attention the network attention of Xi’an from 2017 to 2019 was high.The coefficient of variation and geographic concentration index gradually decreased,and the regional differences began to shrink,with no obvious agglomeration characteristics;from the perspective of the province(city,autonomous region),Xi’an City in the surrounding and coastal provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions)has a high degree of network attention.Specifically,most of the eastern and western provinces(cities,autonomous regions)are located in high-concerned areas and low-concerned areas,respectively,with stable rankings,while general areas are mostly distributed in the central provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions),with relatively fluctuating rankings;In terms of perspective,from 2017 to 2019,the online attention of cities east of the line in Xi’an was significantly higher than that of cities west of the line,but this trend is gradually weakening;Xi’an,the provincial capital,is generally higher than other cities in the province.In addition,the network attention of the surrounding cities of Xi’an and the eastern coastal cities are all high.The network attention of Xi’an in the southwestern cities is generally low,and there is no significant change.The network attention of Xi’an in the northeast and northwest cities is low,but the performance is low.From the perspective of spatial agglomeration,significant hot spots and significant cold spots are contiguously distributed in Xi’an,the secondary hot spots are distributed around the significant hot spots,and the secondary cold spots are scattered.(3)Influencing factors.The climate comfort of the tourist destination,the leisure time of tourists,and the Internet celebrity projects of the tourist destination are the main factors affecting the time distribution of Xi’an’s Internet attention;Through geographic detectors,it is found that the influencing factors affecting the spatial distribution of Xi’an’s Internet attention are the degree of Internet development and age in the source area.The structure,GDP scale,permanent population,educational level and geographical distance between the two places,the strength of the economic connection between the two places,and the percapita GDP of the tourist source places have a weak influence on the spatial distribution of Xi’an’s Internet attention. |
