Research On The Character Structure System Of Liye Qin Bamboo Slips (II

Liye Qin Bamboo Slips are a batch of Qin Dynasty bamboo slips unearthed in Liye Town,Longshan County,Hunan Province,which provide rich materials for the study of Qin culture and local historical facts.At present,most of the academic discussions on Liye Qin Bamboo Slips focus on the aspects of history,culture and textual research and explanation of words,and there are few works on the Systematic configuration research of Liye Qin Bamboo Slips from the perspective of Chinese character ontology.This paper takes Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ)as the research object,sort out 1378non-repetitive words for analysis from more than 30,000 glyphs;Under the guidance of Mr.Wang Ning’s “Chinese Character Configuration Theory”,analyze the systematic characteristics and historical development trend of its configuration.With a view to making a special study of Chinese character configuration during the transformation of seal script and official script in Qin and Han Dynasties.On the one hand,we can know the specific features of Chinese character configuration and font during the transformation of seal script and official script,on the other hand,we can also provide detailed and reliable written materials for the theory and history of Chinese character configuration,which has reference significance for the description and analysis of Chinese character history.On the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes the configuration of the characters in Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ).The main research contents are as follows.Firstly,it makes exhaustive statistics and description of the characters in Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ),determines the number of 1,378 non-repetitive words,and makes a configuration word list for further configuration analysis.At the same time,it also makes a classified description of the relationship between characters,such as different-writing characters,heterogeneous characters and homographs,especially analyzes the principle of determining the main shape of different-writing characters,the similarities and differences between different-writing characters and heterogeneous characters,to ensure the rationality of the final characters.Secondly,using the theory of Chinese character configuration,this paper analyzes the configuration of 1378 characters.The first step is to split the characters and classify them into three categories:character morpheme,morpheme and component.On this basis,the types and functions of components are discussed in detail.And then determine the structure type of Chinese characters,and summarize its configuration mode.After splitting Chinese characters,437 basic components are summed up.These Chinese characters belong to two kinds of structure combinations,in which the hierarchical structure is dominant and the plane structure is the weakest;there are 10 configuration modes,of which the proportion of semantic and speech synthesis modes is the highest,and the semantic synthesis mode come next.This makes a comprehensive analysis and description of the configuration of the characters in Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ).Thirdly,it discusses the form and font feature of Chinese characters in Liye Qin bamboo slips.It is mainly to compare the character form of Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ)with the Small seal script and Han dynasty official script in the previous and later periods,and then summarizes its physical characteristics,determine the nature of its“ancient official script”.And then analyze the special phenomena such as complex characters and combined characters appearing in the Liye Qin Bamboo Slips,and illustrate its unique character research value.Fourthly,it discusses the systematicity of the character configuration of Liye Qin Bamboo Slips(Ⅱ).On the basis of describing its configuration system,this paper compares it with the configuration systems of Chinese characters such as Oracle Bone Inscriptions,Inscriptions on ancient bronze objects,Small seal script,Official script and Regular script,etc.,and analyzes the historical evolution trend of individual configuration and overall configuration of Liye Qin bamboo slips.It is found that the characters of Liye Qin bamboo slips have a strong systematicness,but due to the low proportion of basic component word formation and the insufficient concentration of configuration patterns,the system has not been fully developed.This is a typical reflection of the characters in the transitional period between seal script and official script.
