The Configuration System Study Of Character Written On Bamboo Slips Ⅷ Of The Three Kingdoms Period Unearthed From Zoumalou In Changsha

The Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties are the transition period from official script to regular script and the gradual maturity period of regular script.It is an important period for the evolution of Chinese character fonts in China.It has an important position in the history of Chinese character development.The remains of ink marks in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties are mainly inscriptions and bamboo slips and silks.Bamboo slips and silks are easy to write and transmit as text carriers,and the texts they carry are more closely related to social relations.The number of “ Changsha Zoumalou Three Kingdoms Wu Bamboo Slips ” unearthed in 1996 is huge,and its words truly reflect the use of words in the Three Kingdoms period.There are 1638 single characters in Bamboo Slips Ⅷ.However,due to the poor preservation of bamboo slips,this thesis takes 869 single characters with clear and recognizable handwriting in Bamboo Slips Ⅷ as the basic research material.Based on the theory of Chinese character configuration,using quantitative research,statistical quantification,diachronic comparison and other research methods,this thesis systematically describes the real appearance of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ,describes and analyzes its character system,and examines its heterograph and heterogeneity,configuration elements,configuration motivation and other aspects,so as to provide materials and theoretical basis for the dating research of Chinese characters and the research of Chinese character history.The full text is divided into five parts.Introduction This thesis briefly introduces the research status of correction,text,vocabulary,politics,economy,society,collation and restoration of Wu Jian ’ s interpretation.A systematic study on the characters of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ by means of quantitative and qualitative research,synchronic description and diachronic comparison.Chapter 1 Analysis Wording Arrangement of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ of the Three Kingdoms Period Unearthed from Zoumalou in Changsha A systematic description of the heterographs,heterographs and homographs in Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is made,in which the heterographs include strokes and components;heterogeneous words include different configuration modes,different components,and different component additions and subtractions;conformal phenomena include homographs and homograph components.According to the actual situation of Wu bamboo slips,the principle of establishing the main form is proposed to determine the font shape of configuration analysis.Chapter 2 Research on Text Configuration Elements of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ of the Three Kingdoms Period Unearthed from Zoumalou in Changsha A comprehensive description of the configuration attributes of the Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is made from the four aspects of basic components,direct components,configuration mode and configuration level.Following the principle of rational division,564 direct components are separated,including 214 ideographic components and 914 times of construction;317 sound components,464 times.Although the number of ideographic components is less than that of phonetic components,the number of its parametric characters is much more than that of phonetic components,reflecting that its parametric ability is higher than that of phonetic components.A total of 360 basic components,with a ratio of 1 : 2.41 to the total number examined.In addition to the fact that the text constructed by the sign component cannot determine the configuration mode,the text of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ can be divided into five configuration modes : full-function zero synthesis,semantic synthesis,syntagmatic synthesis,nominal synthesis,and semantic synthesis.Among them,the semantic synthesis mode dominates.The characters of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ are mainly hierarchical,which can be divided into five types : zero layer,one layer,two layers,three layers and four layers.Compared with oracle bone inscriptions,spring and autumn inscriptions,seal script and other text structure level,Bamboo Slips Ⅷ text is given priority to with one layer and two layers,and the proportion of zero layer belongs to the text increases.Chapter 3 Research on the Reasons of Text Structure of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ of the Three Kingdoms Period Unearthed from Zoumalou in Changsha According to the retention degree of motivation,the formation motivation of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ can be divided into five types :motivation inheritance,motivation clarity,motivation concealment,motivation partial loss and motivation complete loss.Through a comprehensive investigation,it can be seen that the inheritance of motivation accounts for 13.6 %,the clarity of motivation accounts for 58.6 %,the concealment of motivation accounts for 20.2 %,the partial loss of motivation accounts for 3.5 %,and the complete loss of motivation accounts for 4.1 %,among which only 4.1 % of the words completely lose motivation.Thus,it still clearly reflects the characteristics of ideographic.Chapter 4 Evolution of Text Configuration System of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ of the Three Kingdoms Period Unearthed from Zoumalou in Changsha From a diachronic perspective,the word formation system from Oracle Bone inscriptions to Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is becoming more and more perfect.From the perspective of the basic components,the ratio of the basic components and the variants of the basic components in Oracle Bone inscriptions is 1 : 8.5,and the ratio of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is 1 : 1.1,reflecting that the number of variants of the basic components is small,and the text is more standardized.From the perspective of configuration mode,Bamboo Slips Ⅷ total function zero synthesis accounted for 18.4 %,semantic sound synthesis accounted for 54 %,semantic synthesis accounted for 21.6 %,nominal synthesis accounted for 1.5 %,semantic image synthesis accounted for 1.5 %,of which semantic sound synthesis was dominant,the number of total function zero synthesis words increased significantly compared with Xiaozhuan and Mawangdui silk books;from the perspective of structural order,the hierarchical structure of Oracle accounts for 12.46 %,and the hierarchical structure of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ accounts for 98 %,indicating that the word structure of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is more orderly and the component is more available.In summary,the text configuration system of Bamboo Slips Ⅷ is a relatively mature system,the type of configuration mode is simple,mainly to the synthesis of meaning sound;the word structure has strong order and is mainly hierarchical;the structure reason is well preserved,and the reason is clear.
