Analyses Of Music And Performance On Piano Suite Guizhou Style

Cui Wenyu is one of the most representative composers of Guizhou local music.He mainly uses Guizhou local folk music elements as materials for creation,and depicts Guizhou ethnic customs and mountains and rivers with music.Piano suite named as "Guizhou Style" is one of the works created by Mr.Cui with Guizhou folk music characteristics,as well as one of the most representative works in Guizhou piano music.It is of certain learning and research value to understand Guizhou piano music.There are three parts in this paper to express: The first part is to introduce the composer Mr.Cui through his self-description of learning and creation experience,and understand the creation characteristics of "Guizhou Style".The second part is to analyze the music ontology of the seven works by analyses of form and tonality,then analyze the application of ethnic music elements and style characteristics of each piece of music.The third part is based on the musical style of each piece of music,to discuss the emotional grasp in the performance of each piece of music.This part is aimed at guiding the actual performance,which will be more accurately close to the music style.
