A Study On The Musical Characteristics And Performance Techniques Of Cui Wenyu's "Rondo

It was a period of vigorous development of Chinese piano music in 1980 s.There were large number of composers who had courage to innovate and explore in this era,and they also produced a large number of high-quality excellent works for Chinese piano music.Mr.Cui Wenyu is one of them.He is one of the most representative composers in Guizhou.He is good at expressing his feelings to the landscape with his witty music,and he creates music works with full of homesickness as a painter using his brush to show us a masterpiece.At the same time,he makes indelible achievements in the Chinese folk music.This paper describes his solo piano work《Rondo》,which he composed after graduation in Sichuan Conservatory of Music.Mr.Cui combined his hometown music with Chinese music.This work contained the author’s unique views in Chinese folk music at that time and showed his values in artistic creation.This paper analyzes and expounds the Rondo with three chapters.The first part introduces Mr.Cui Wenyu’s own creative experience,creative characteristics in different periods and the background of the《Rondo》;The second part is the analysis of the structure of the 《 Rondo 》.The third part elaborates the principle in playing technique and the style of Rondo.
