Contemporary wall painting art is influenced by modern science and technology,modern design trend of thought and artistic expression type,and its theme,creation content and expression form tend to be rich.Contemporary wall painting art is gradually becoming a comprehensive art involving multiple disciplines from a pure visual art form,and often appears in public space as public art.This paper first defines the research concept and scope of contemporary wall painting art,and through a brief analysis of its artistic characteristics,clarifies its relationship with contemporary art and public art,and combs its own development history.Then of contemporary wall painting art creation theme,composition,materials used has carried on the induction,and space from the several aspects,combined with the streets in a variety of contemporary wall paint types of cases,analyzes the contemporary wall painting art in different public space of different status and significance.Finally,the paper analyzes the charm of it as a kind of contemporary art in other design fields such as commercial design and environmental design,and puts forward some ideas on the problems it meets at present.In this paper,the origin and development,artistic language and practical function of contemporary wall painting art are summarized,hoping to play some reference role for the future development of Chinese contemporary wall painting art.
