Research On The Collection Of Yang Shoujing’s Stele Image

Yang Shoujing was a famous stele image collector in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period,whose stele image collection was rich in content and diverse in form,and few people could beat him.Yang Shoujing was born in a general merchant family,although he had a keen interest in jinshi and inscriptions since he was a child,due to his family’s general situation,he had no family heritage and no relatives to guide him,so his road of collecting inscriptions and toppings was not smooth.Yang Shoujing understands the difficulty of collecting inscriptions and in order to help the students who love inscriptions and stones like him,Yang Shoujing published his inscriptions and stones collection into many books.Yang Shoujing’s monument and topiary collection and engraved works have provided rich reference materials for future generations to study ancient monuments and topiaries,and have had a profound impact on future generations.Yang Shoujing’s collection is divided into four main parts: the first part is an overview of Yang Shoujing’s collection,which clarifies the time,form,and quantity of Yang Shoujing’s collection of monuments and topo works,and gives a holistic understanding of the number of his collection by organizing his works.The second part,Sources and Criteria of Yang Shoujing’s Collection,distills the main sources and collection criteria of his numerous collections through the contents described in Yang Shoujing’s works on stele image collection and other commentary works.In the third part,the uses of Yang Shoujing’s collection are analyzed with examples of these six uses,since the sources and criteria of Yang Shoujing’s collection are relatively fixed and the uses of his collection are relatively uniform.In the fourth part,the influence and value of Yang Shoujing’s monument and topiary collection,through the analysis of the trajectory of Yang Shoujing’s monument and topiary actions,reflects the influence of Yang Shoujing’s monument and topiary collection on domestic and foreign countries.These influences are reflected in the influence of monument and topiary in addition to the well-known calligraphic influence,and in the process of its dissemination of monument and topiary,the value generated by the influence of Yang Shoujing’s monument and topiary collection is also reflected.
