Behavioral Mechanism Of Red Gene Inheritance Of Tourist Destination Residents From The Perspective Of Cultural Memory

The red gene always runs through the ideals and beliefs of communism,which is in line with the common pursuit of the Chinese nation,and inevitably requires the uninterrupted inheritance of generations.General Secretary Xi Jinping Published the article "Make good use of red resources,pass on red genes,and pass down the red country from generation to generation" in the magazine "Seeking Truth" on the occasion of the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.The publication of the article further promoted the research of red gene inheritance in academia.As a special memory in a long-term timeline,cultural memory can be passed down from generation to generation through media such as texts,rituals,monuments,and architecture.Therefore,the eternal requirement of red gene inheritance makes it coincide with cultural memory,so this paper makes some reflections on the inheritance of red gene from the perspective of cultural memory.Taking Jinggangshan as an example,this paper analyzes the behavioral mechanism of red gene inheritance of residents in tourist destinations from the perspective of cultural memory,in order to put forward reasonable suggestions to strengthen the behavioral tendency of residents’ red gene inheritance and enrich the path of red gene inheritance.Through the structural equation model analysis of 337 valid questionnaires,the article found that:(1)the spatial and emotional dimensions of cultural memory both positively affect residents’ tourism perception and place attachment;(2)Residents’ perception of tourism and place attachment both positively affect residents’ red gene inheritance behavior;(3)Both the spatial and emotional dimensions of cultural memory positively affect residents’ red gene inheritance behavior.Based on this,referring to the path of cultural memory→ tourism perception/place attachment→ inheritance behavior,it is proposed to strengthen the behavioral tendency of residents to inherit red genes by strengthening the continuation of cultural memory,promoting residents’ positive tourism perception and strengthening residents’ place attachment,which is beneficial to The red gene is passed on more widely.This paper provides an empirical basis and theoretical guidance for guiding and strengthening red tourism destinations to guide residents’ red gene inheritance behavior.
