"La Boheme" is based on the French playwright Henry Muse’s novel "The Scene of the Life of the Dissipated Artist",is one of the famous opera composer Puccini’s classic works.Since its first performance in Italy in 1896,this work has become a pivotal classic on the world opera stage,with high artistic value and rich cultural heritage.This opera focuses on the social life of the people at the bottom of the French society in the 19 th century.Through the realistic description of relevant people and events,it shows the cruel living situation of the audience at that time,which is of great realistic significance.The success of the opera La Boheme is inseparable from the portrayal of the heroine Mimi image.The composer describes the character image carefully through music to promote the development of the plot.Among them,the heroine’s two arias "People Call me Mimi" and "Come to You" show the change and growth of Mimi’s character image through singing,creating a plump heroine image.Therefore,this paper through the passage,people call me Mimi came to your side,by combining the story creation background and character analysis on the character of the heroine,image and life background and so on,the two pieces of melody structure and further exploring the puccini opera music emotion expression in different periods,the artistic style of different cultural background.Through the singing and the second creation of the work experience,personal professional singing and stage experience,to promote the combination of theory and practice of puccini opera aria with a strong drama.By studying the background,singing style and singing skills of this aria,the charm of realistic opera can be better displayed,so that more vocal music learners and fans can be familiar with and like Puccini’s opera works.
