| "Thank You Friends" is a classic piece for coletoria soprano.It is an aria sung by Elena before her marriage in Act 5 of the opera "Vespers Sicilian" by Giuseppe Verdi(1813-1901).The melody of this work is cheerful,and the composer uses a large number of colorways in the composition,which requires high technical requirements for the singer.The work plays a connecting role in the opera,suggesting the tragedy that follows.This article is divided into four chapters,the first chapter is the introduction and analysis of Verdi’s life and the opera "Sicilian Vespers".Chapter two analyzes the musical characteristics of arias.The third chapter compares the singing versions of the three singers.The fourth chapter is singing skills and performance analysis.The research on the musical characteristics and singing skills of "Thank You Friends" plays a vital role in my own second creation of the song.At the same time,it also provides material reference for learners and singers to learn this work in the future,enriching the research results of "Thank You Friends" in China. |
