Abstract/Summary:
After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,with the proposal of the "double hundred" policy in 1956 and the holding of the "first national music week",literary and artistic "joint performance" activities entered the historical stage.In the late 1980 s,with the holding of the Chinese Art Festival,there was an upsurge of holding literary and artistic festivals throughout the country.In 1987,Shandong Province held the first Shandong Art Festival from October 2nd to 8th.There were2622 artists participated in the performance,including professional and amateur literary and art workers in the province directly under the provincial government,Jinan troops and the whole province,as well as invited provincial and foreign art workers.Within 31 performances,there were 19 musical dance and drama programs that attracting more than 10000 audiences.During the festival,12 art exhibitions and sales activities were held,with more than 50000 visitors.Based on the collected literature and history materials,combined with the political,economic,social and cultural background,this paper attempts to restore the various links of the Art Festival and explore the historical status of this cultural activity.This paper is divided into introduction,four chapters and conclusion.There are six parts to introduce the first Shandong Art Festival,and conduct in-depth research and summary.The introduction is based on a large number of historical materials and documents,from the reason for selecting the topic and the significance of the research,to the research status,research ideas and methods.The first chapter is the overview of new China’s literary and artistic activities.Firstly,it combs the historical origin of new China’s literary and artistic activitiesd;After that summarizes the literary and artistic activities in Shandong Province,and finally makes a brief description of the predecessor of the Art Festival-"Spring City autumn" concert.The second chapter is the historical review of the first Shandong Art Festival,which comprehensively outlines the whole process of the festival from the preparatory work and the beginning and end of the performance.The third chapter is the research on the achievements of the first Shandong Art Festival.It analyzes and discusses the outstanding achievements presented in the stage performance of the art festival according to the genre and theme of the works.The fourth chapter is a review of the first Shandong Art Festival.Based on the previous research,it comprehensively summarizes the characteristics,success factors,regrets and shortcomings of the art festival.It deeply reflects its historical significance and makes a summary.In the conclusion,the article states that the first Shandong Art Festival is the first literary and artistic activity held in the form of "Festival" with "art" as a large category in Shandong Province.It has the characteristics of being suitable for both static and dynamic,inclusive,open,and mass.It is of milestone significance in the history of Shandong provincial capital performance,the history of Shandong provincial literary and artistic activities,and the development and construction of Shandong Province’s literary and artistic undertakings.It promoted the all-round development of Shandong art and aligned all kinds of art;It exploits the artistic potential of Shandong Province,and affects the aesthetic orientation of the people through a group of performance achievements with Shandong national style.In addition,it also has a historical position of connecting the preceding and the following,providing a reference for the development of literary and art undertakings in Shandong Province in the future.It has both historical value and practical significance.
