Collection And Research Of Music Historical Materials In New Women

As a pioneer women’s magazine,new women magazine was founded in January 1926 by Zhang xichen,a famous publisher and writer in China.This magazine is the product of the times under the wave of the May 4th movement.Its birth responds to the theme of the times advocating new culture and new ideas during the May 4th Movement.It takes women’s independence,equality between men and women,freedom of marriage and love as its publishing concept,and gathers the famous people from all walks of life at that time like Lu Xun,Zhou Jianren,Chen Xuezhao,Feng Zikai,Qian Juntao,etc.contributed to the new women magazine and promoted the process of women’s liberation movement.In this magazine,there are not only many articles published by experts and scholars on women’s liberation,but also joined music art.From the first issue of Volume 2 in 1927 to the eighth issue of Volume 4 in 1929,there are 31 art songs created by musicians Qian Juntao,Qiu Wangxiang,Shen binglian and Chen Xiaokong,and 11 music articles created by music educator Feng Zikai and writer Lou Junqing.This batch of music historical materials will be put into the macro background of the times for dynamic analysis,to dig out its value and significance and make some supplements for the development of modern Chinese music history.This paper takes new women magazine as the original material,takes the research of music historical materials as the breakthrough point,and analyzes it through the following six parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the background of topic selection,research review,research methods and innovation,as well as research significance;the second part discusses the background of new women magazine from the political,economic,social,cultural and other aspects;in the third part,the author summarizes the editor,the purpose and the publication of the magazine,and compiles the music historical materials in the magazine from two aspects: Music articles and art songs;in the fourth part,the author divides the music historical materials into two modules: Music articles and art songs,then classifies them;the fifth part elaborates the historical materials of music in the new women magazine from the historical significance and the contemporary value;finally,in the conclusion part,the author reviews the content of the full text and summarizes five aspects.Through the analysis of these six parts,we can give a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of new women and the music history in the magazine.
