On the basis of a large number of facts about the grammaticalization of the three branches of the Tai-Kadai languages,Lakjia-Be,Hlai and Geyang,this paper tries to fully summarize the grammaticalization paths of each branch based on the available materials.On this basis,these grammaticalization paths are compared in human languages,the Tai-Kadai languages and each language branch,and the universals and specificities in the grammaticalization evolution of the Tai-Kadai languages are summarized.The whole thesis is divided into five chapters,among which the second,third and fourth chapters are the main part of the thesis.The following chapters are introduced respectively.The first chapter is the introduction.This paper gives a brief introduction to the basic situation of Tai-Kadai language,summarizes the research on the grammaticalization of the three branches of the Tai-Kadai languages,namely Lakjia-Be,Hlai and Geyang,and introduces the purpose,significance,methods and corpus source of this paper..The second chapter fully summarizes the grammaticalization path of noun parts of the three target branches of Tai-Kadai language,and discusses the evolution process based on a large number of grammatical facts.In this chapter,there are five categories of noun class,including demonstrative,classifier,generic noun "thing",body part noun and locative noun.On this basis,the grammaticalization paths are compared with human languages,the Tai-Kadai languages and the branch to which the path belongs respectively,and the universals and specificities in the grammaticalization evolution are summarized.The third chapter fully summarizes the grammaticalization paths of verb parts in the three target branches of the Tai-Kadai languages,and also discusses its grammaticalization process.The verb class discussed in this chapter include eight kinds of verbs: directional verbs,"put","get","say",posture verbs,"do","finish" and "know".On this basis,it also summarizes the universals and specificities in its grammaticalization evolution.The fourth chapter fully summarizes the grammaticalization paths of adjective class in the three target branches of Tai-Kadai language,and mainly discusses the grammatical evolution of the three classes "good","more" and "less".On the basis of this work,the universals and specificities of their grammaticalization evolution are summarized.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.This chapter consists of two sections.The first section summarizes the research results of this paper,and the second section points out the shortcomings of this paper and the areas to be studied.
