When culture thrives,the country thrives;when culture is strong,the country is strong.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to cultural work and has always insisted on leading the whole Party and the whole nation with advanced ideas.Red culture has witnessed the practical history of the CPC since its birth in holding high the great banner of Marxism and continuously promoting the Chineseisation of Marxism.Its emergence and development is not simply a cultural phenomenon,but an important choice for the Communist Party of China to dominate ideology through culture as the main body of power,and an important weapon for the ideological work of the masses in the new era.Studying the heritage of red culture helps to carry forward the contemporary value of red culture,enhance social cohesion and centripetal force,and build a firm socialist ideological position.It is also of great significance in promoting the integration of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and advanced socialist culture,and in advancing the construction of a strong socialist cultural state.The study of the heritage of the Red Culture of the Communist Party of China is a systematic and huge project,which needs to constantly stimulate the initiative and enthusiasm of the whole nation to create culture.At present,there are rich theoretical achievements in academic research,red-themed educational activities continue to be carried out online and offline,and the trend of industrialisation of red culture is increasing,all of which have greatly contributed to the development of red culture.However,there is still a long way to go to achieve the creative transformation and innovative development of red culture,and it is necessary to continue to make efforts in the same direction to raise people’s awareness of inheritance,enrich media dissemination methods and reasonably develop and utilise red resources,so as to give fuller play to the value power of red culture.Since the 18 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the inheritance of red culture and has repeatedly stressed its importance.This article argues that to promote the development of the inheritance of red culture,we should,on the one hand,rely on the education of the four histories to popularise people’s knowledge of history,deepen the interpretation of the connotations of red culture in the context of socialist core values and the culture of revolutionary regions,and bring into play the combined educational efforts of schools,society and families so that the red gene can be passed on from generation to generation.On the other hand,we should improve the environment for the development of red culture by improving the system of red culture,developing red culture resources rationally,and fostering a team of talents,so as to create a strong atmosphere in the whole society to attach importance to red culture and learn from it,which will have the effect of enhancing people’s cultural identity.Finally,it is important to recognise the importance of propaganda work.Create works of art and literature that are in line with the trends of the times and the aesthetics of the people,and publicise them on the media platforms.It is only by allowing people to be inspired by red culture in a subtle way that they can become more culturally conscious and practise the concept of red culture in a practical way.
