The selection of models and the promotion of role models are the consistent fine traditions and political advantages of the Communist Party of China.Along with the party’s century-old history,model culture of the CPC has gone through the historical changes of revolution,construction,reform and the new era,and has exerted the greatest effect of cohesion for the central tasks of the party and the country.The study of the example culture of the Communist Party of China is an important realistic proposition which is not only related to the construction of socialist spiritual civilization,but also to build a strong socialist cultural country.Under the historical background of the new era,it has become an important problem to be solved urgently in theory and practice to continue to enhance the soft power of the country and provide spiritual support for the innovation of the new form of human civilization through the construction of the example culture of the Communist Party of China.Analyzing the spiritual essence and value pursuit showing from the role models from a cultural perspective will help to enhance the high recognition of the role models of the Chinese Communists,and provide reference for building a socialist cultural power that demonstrates the wisdom,bearing and charm of the Chinese nation.Therefore,on the basis of adhering to the Marxist epistemology,this paper uses the relevant discourses of the Chinese and Western model views,and focuses on the combination of theory and practice from the perspective of culturology.Interdisciplinary analysis method and other research methods,through theoretical interpretation,historical sorting,comparison induction,and experience summary,trying to systematically study the construction of the model culture of the Communist Party of China from the perspective of methodology,in order to clarify the special significance of role model culture in promoting socialist core values,revealing the realistic situation faced by the model culture construction under the historical background of the new era and its root perspective,and introducing the promotion path of the model culture construction under the historical conditions of the new era.In terms of research ideas,the basic content of the model culture of the Chinese Communist Party,such as conceptual connotation,internal elements,generation mechanism,main body composition,functional value,and operating mechanism,is taken as the "warp",and the historical evolution of the construction of the model culture of the Communist Party of China is taken as the "latitude".By examining the concept,content,and laws of the CPC’s model culture horizontally,and vertically examining the historical situation of the CPC’s model culture,finding problems,analyzing the gains and losses,exploring the reasons,and researching countermeasures,construct the content system of the CPC’s model culture construction in the new era.This thesis consists of five chapters in addition to introduction and conclusion in the first chapter.The second chapter clarifies the basic category of the model.This paper analyzes the connotation of model from two aspects of etymological tracing and modern interpretation,defines model culture on the basis of in-depth analysis of the essence of culture,and sums up the basic form of the criticism of the heroic historical view of idealism provides the basic guidance for the construction of the role model culture of the Communist Party of China.The Confucian ideal personality and the traditional system in the traditional Chinese culture provide rich nourishment for the construction of the role model culture of the Communist Party of China.Hero worship in western culture and the achievements of modern model education theory provide scientific reference for the construction of model culture of the Communist Party of China.The fourth chapter illustrates the basic content of the model culture of the Communist Party of China.This paper combs and summarizes the discussion about model culture of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China,defines the connotation of model culture of the Communist Party of China on this basis,and further clarifies the functional value and specific form of model culture of the Communist Party of China.The fifth chapter makes a comprehensive investigation of the historical process of the construction of the model culture of the Communist Party of China.Taking the construction of model culture as a clue,this paper analyzes the models selected and promoted in four historical periods: the period of the new democratic revolution,the period of socialist revolution and construction,the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization,and the entry of socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era.Then,from the perspective of the unity of history and logic,we will deeply understand the characteristics of the times in the construction of model culture.The sixth chapter analyzes the practice field of Chinese Communist Party’s model culture construction.First,it summarizes the basic experience and major achievements in the construction of model culture for more than 100 years;secondly,it analyzes the practical difficulties faced in the construction process from the three dimensions of the subject,object and carrier of the model culture of the Communist Party of China;thirdly,from the perspective of value orientation changes,From the three aspects of the erosion of popular culture and the lack of moral education awareness,this paper analyzes the root causes of the predicament affecting the construction of the model culture of the Communist Party of China.The seventh chapter explores the practical direction of the Chinese Communist Party’s model culture construction under the historical conditions of the new era.The model building of the Communist Party of China in the new era should be guided by the core socialist values,cultivate the model culture with the great party-building spirit,build a systematic and scientific model education system,optimize the long-term
