| This thesis chooses the funeral culture of S Village,Sishui County,Shandong Province as the research object,for the reason that funeral culture has always been one of the important research topics of anthropology and ethnology,as well as an important part of Confucian culture,which is a system composed of rituals,customs and religious beliefs.This thesis is given priority to with participation observation,depth interview method,literature methodology is complementary,from the Angle of ethnology,anthropology of S funeral service,burial service and sacrifice service process and function of the narrating and analysis of the overall system,is expected to play a complementary role to the theory of cultural functions,and provide lively case for the reform of the funeral,funeral culture research significance in theory and reality,In order to promote the rural ethos civilization construction.This thesis introduces the natural and social environment of Sishui County and S village,and elaborates the funeral service,burial service and sacrifice service in three chapters.First of all,the funeral is divided into the beginning of people die ceremony;That is,people in the terminal and the first end of the related rituals;To deal with the funeral,that is,governing funeral rites;Funeral rites,that is,the ceremony related to the burial place.Secondly,it describes the burial customs of S village,including pre-burial preparation and funeral ceremony,and makes a comprehensive description and systematic classification of the village’s burial method,burial style and burial place.Finally,the thesis describes and analyzes the process of the village’s sacrifice ceremony,including tomb sweeping,soil adding,offering and ceremony,and divides the memorial ceremony time into three categories: sacrifice ceremony based on the death day,festival and other sacrifice ceremonies.It also describes and ponders the changes and causes of the culture of funeral and sacrifice ceremony in this village.In this thesis,based on the theory of ethnology,cultural anthropology to discuss and analysis the function of S village funeral culture,and to classify secular and sacred,the funeral culture of secular have emotional problems,adjusting social relations and cognitive education function,it has to do with personal,social and the continuation of race all have close relations,and have a material effect.The sacred function of funeral culture can meet the needs of the villagers’ belief in eternal life and worship of the dead,which has the function of "ultimate concern".Investigation and analysis based on the funeral culture of S village,in the final chapter made a thought,including the expensive funerals and the frugal funeral,burial and cremation,traditional and modern to the customs and ideas,three are also difficult to implement in the reform of the funeral,controversial customs and ideas,think the village in the concrete practice and differences between China’s funeral reform original intention.Although the present situation of funeral and sacrifice ceremony in S village is only considered and the psychological cognition of the village villagers is only studied and analyzed,but it is similar to the funeral culture of the Han in the whole county,the whole city and the whole country,which can provide some ideas for funeral reform and changing customs. |
