A Report On The English-Chinese Translation Of Single Pilot Commercial Operations(Part 2)

With the development of science and technology and the increasing frequency of international science and technology communication,the demand for technology text translation is becoming more and more extensive,so how to effectively carry out the translation of science and technology text is a subject under discussion.Based on the translation of the second part of Single Pilot Commercial Operations(2013),and under the guidance of Newmark’s Text Typology Theory,this translation report studies concrete translation examples from the lexical,syntactic,and textual levels.The author adopts transference,annotation and conversion translation methods at the lexical level.At the syntactic level,the author analyzes sentences with division,restructuring and voice changes.Cohesion and coherence are applied at the textual level.By doing this,the author aims to explore how to guarantee the accuracy,technical nature and readability of the science and technology papers during translation.
