Slavoj Zizek is not only an important inheritor of Lacanism, but also an active post-Marxist in contemporary academic circles.Zizek’s first English work,The Sublime Object of Ideology, was heatedly discussed. His ideological theory is very rich in content, including psychoanalysis, ideological theory, culture, political philosophy and other fields. The essence of which is ideology.theory.Zizek inherited the theories of Lacan,Marx,Hegel and Althusser, and formed the theory of "ideological illusion".Zizek takes "commodity fetishism" as the starting point of ideology, criticizes the traditional Marxist view that ideology is "false consciousness",and abandons the traditional view, thinking that it is a kind of social existence. He argues that the role of ideology has changed over time:from a deceitful trick to cover up social reality to a weapon to mend reality and heal the wounds of the reality of the subject.Zizek is a post-Marxist,he broke with tradition, but he abandoned the basic principles of Marxism and did not understand Marxism correctly.Starting from Marxism, this paper examines Zizek’s ideological theory, and makes a comparative analysis of the differences between Zizek and Marx in ideology.Zizek’s Lacanization of Marxism enriches the theory of ideology and expands our research horizons. However,Zizek’s ideological theory is not critical enough, abandons the revolutionary spirit, and goes against the essence of human beings.
