The meaning and usage of adverbs with turning meaning are complicated,it is difficult for Chinese learners to accurately understand and master when using them, and there will be many errors. Therefore, they are the key and difficult points in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The paper adopts the methods of comparative analysis, quantitative analysis and induction, and takes seven typical adverbs with turning meaning "que" "qishi" "jingran" "dao" "faner" "pianpian" and "juran" in the word list of the General Curriculum for International Chinese Teaching as the research object, from four aspects of grammatical point presentation, repetition, annotation and practice. To investigate its arrangement and design in three sets of teaching materials: "Developing Chinese" "New Practical Chinese reader" and "Chinese Course".By investigating the presentation of adverbs in three sets of textbooks,it is found that "Developing Chinese" covers all adverbs in the syllabus, while there are few adverbs in "New Practical Chinese Textbook" and "Chinese Course".From the analysis of the order of presentation, the order of adverbs with turning meaning in "Developing Chinese" and "Chinese Course" conforms to the order of outline arrangement, and the higher-grade word "faner" is first to appear in "New Practical Chinese reader".From the perspective of presentation and content, adverbs with turning meaning are all distributed in four parts of text, new words list, grammar explanation and practice in the three sets of textbooks, presenting various functions. For example, there are seven functional items of "que" in the text of Developing Chinese. From repetition, repetition of modal adverbs of three sets of textbooks in turn differences, respectively from behind the repetition frequency, repetition grade, repetition interval to illustrate. The paper found that in Developing Chinese, there are more words with relatively low grade, and more words with high frequency, and repetition interval is relatively reasonable; In New Practical Chinese reader and Chinese Course, there are few adverbs with relatively large recurrence intervals.Annotation situation from two aspects of way and content to analysis,"Developing Chinese" and "Chinese Course" are explained in both Chinese and English on the way,"New practical Chinese textbook" mainly explains the meaning and usage in English, three sets of textbooks all have English explanation, and there are many examples in the notes, while lack of comparison analysis between the words. From the perspective of the amount and type of exercises, there are more comprehension exercises in the three sets of textbooks, focusing on the cultivation of students’ expressive ability. However, there are not many exercises about adverbs with turning meaning and the types of exercises are relatively simple.Through comparative analysis, the advantages and problems of the arrangement and design of adverbial adverbs in three sets of textbooks are found, and the teaching of adverbial adverbs is analyzed. We hold that textbooks should pay attention to improving the repetition rate of words, shortening the time interval of repetition, refining notes and enriching exercises. In teaching,we should pay attention to reasonable arrangement of teaching sequence, combination of context teaching, contrast teaching, and finally make a specific teaching design by taking the adverb "dao" as an example.
