| Adverbs have always been the most controversial and divisive words in the Chinese academic circle.As a very important sub-category of adverbs,modal adverbs not only have a high frequency of use,but also can be used freely and flexibly.However,the complex diversity of its usage will still lead to a large number of errors in the learning and use process of Chinese learners.Therefore,the teaching of modal adverbs is also a key and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.the teaching of modal adverbs is an important and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The teaching materials are closely related to the content students learn,so the scientific nature of the teaching materials directly affects the teaching effect of modal adverbs.It is necessary to compare the modal adverbs in the teaching materials with the teaching syllabus.In this paper,modal adverbs in the comprehensive textbook of Developing Chinese are selected as the research object.The problems existing in the arrangement of modal adverbs in the comprehensive textbook are analyzed by comparing with Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as "Grading Standards").Finally,the author puts forward the corresponding textbook compiling suggestion.The paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the significance of the topic selection of the paper,reviews and sorts out the previous research,and points out the research object and research method of the paper.The second chapter makes statistics on the modal adverbs in Developing Chinese from three aspects: quantity,grade distribution and grammar item setting,and makes statistics on the quantity,grade distribution and grammar item arrangement of the modal adverbs in the textbook,and compares them with the vocabulary outline and grammar grade outline in Grading Standards,and further evaluate the rationality and shortcomings of the selection of modal adverbs in the textbook.The third chapter mainly studies the arrangement of modal adverbs in Developing Chinese.Statistics and analysis are made on the recurrence form and frequency of modal adverbs in the lecture and practice,as well as the recurrence frequency of modal adverbs in the whole textbook and the reach of the recurrence frequency in the sub-textbook.The fourth chapter further investigates the arrangement of modal adverbs in practice questions on the basis of sorting out the relevant exercises in the textbook in Chapter three.It analyzes the rationality and deficiency of modal adverbs in the exercises in comprehensive textbook Developing Chinese from the perspective of question type and number.Based on the statistical analysis of the preceding chapters,the fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of the comprehensive textbook Developing Chinese from the aspects of the number,grade distribution,grammar item arrangement,recurrence and exercise design.Chapter six is the conclusion,which summarizes the main points of the full text,and points out the advantages and disadvantages of the arrangement of modal adverbs in the textbook of Developing Chinese and the shortcomings of this paper. |
