Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Post-stroke Insomnia With Yin Deficiency And Hyperactivity Of Fire By Acupuncture Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicin

Purpose : For the two groups of insomnia patients with Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity after stroke,press needle combined with Huanglian Ejiao Decoction and Huanglian Ejiao Decoction alone were given respectively to observe the difference in efficacy between the two groups,so as to observe whether press needle combined with traditional Chinese medicine has advantages in the treatment of insomnia patients with Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity after stroke.Material and method:In this study,71 patients with insomnia of Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity after stroke who met the research criteria were from the neurology department of the Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to October 2022.They were randomly divided into experimental group(36cases)and control group(35 cases).The control group was treated with Huanglian Ejiao Decoction,on this basis,the experimental group combined with 0.25 mm produced by Suzhou Huatuo Medical Products Co.,Ltd × 2mm disposable sterile press needle,puncture Baihui,Shenmai(bilateral),Zhaohai(bilateral),Sanyinjiao(bilateral),Shenmen(bilateral),Taixi(bilateral),Xinshu(bilateral),Shenshu(bilateral).Both groups were treated for 28 days,and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and the Stroke-specific Quality of Life(SS-QOL)were used to measure their sleep and quality of life respectively at the beginning and end of the experiment,and the efficacy evaluation criteria were formulated based on the2002 edition of the Guiding Principles for Clinical Research of New Chinese Medicines.All data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 25.0 software,and the test results were found to be different by ‘P<0.05’.Results:1.PSQI score: The post-experimental total score of the two groups was significantly lower than the pre-experimental total score(P<0.01);After the course of treatment,compared with the traditional Chinese medicine group,the time of falling asleep,the use of sleeping pills,the daytime function and the total score of the combined treatment group were significantly lower(P<0.01),the other four sides have no difference(P>0.05).Intra-group comparison showed that all scores in the combined treatment group were lower than before(P<0.05);All scores in the traditional Chinese medicine group were lower than before(P<0.05).2.SS-QOL score: There was significant difference between the two groups at the end of the course of treatment(P<0.01);Intra-group comparison showed that there were significant differences between the post-experimental total score and the the pre-experimental total score of the two groups(P<0.01).3.Adverse reaction evaluation: The incidence of adverse reactions in the combined treatment group was 6.67%,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the traditional Chinese medicine group was 3.33%,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).4.Efficacy evaluation: the total effective rate of the combined treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was 76.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Both the press needle and traditional Chinese medicine combined treatment group and the traditional Chinese medicine group can significantly improve the sleep and quality of life of patients with Yin deficiency and fire insomnia after stroke,and the combined treatment group is significantly better than the traditional Chinese medicine group;2.There was no obvious adverse reaction between press needle and traditional Chinese medicine treatment;3.The use of press needle on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve the effective rate of treating insomnia after stroke,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
