Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of insomnia with the syndrome of liver stagnation and fire by using press-needle,and to explore a simple, safe and effective acupuncture treatment scheme for the treatment of insomnia with the syndrome of liver stagnation and fire. Methods:From January 2020 to December 2020,sixty patients with insomnia with liver stagnation and fire syndrome who lived in the local area and met the case screening criteria were collected.Randomized method was used and divided into treatment group and control group according to the principle of 1:1 control. The treatment group was treated with press-needle,and came to the clinic to change the needle once a day,and kept the needle for 24 hours each time, and had two days off at weekends for 3 weeks. The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture once a day and 2 days off at weekends for 3 weeks.General information, total score and scores of PSQI scale before and after treatment,TCM syndrome scale were recorded in detail, and efficacy was evaluated after treatment.Results:1.Before treatment, the two groups were compared in general data, total and various scores of PSQI scale, and TCM syndrome score scale, and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of total scores and scores of PSQI scale before and after treatment between the two groups: The total score of PSQI scale and the intra-group comparison before and after treatment showed statistically significant differences(P<0.01),indicating that both methods could effectively improve patients’ sleep quality, sleep time, hours of sleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, daytime dysfunction and total score of PSQI scale. After treatment, the total score and various scores of PSQI scale in the two groups were compared between the two groups. The evaluation of sleep quality, hours of sleep and daytime dysfunction in the acupuncture group was better than that in the traditional acupuncture group(P<0.05),and the efficacy of total score of PSQI scale, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorders was similar(P>0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome scoring scale after treatment between the two groups: there was a statistically significant difference between the scores of TCM syndrome scoring scale after treatment and those before treatment between the two groups(P<0.01),indicating that both methods could effectively improve the TCM syndromes of patients; The scores of TCM syndrome integral scale were compared between the two groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the press-needle group was better than the traditional acupuncture group in improving TCM syndrome.4.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment: after 3 weeks of treatment, one case was cured,twenty-one cases were significantly effective, four cases were effective and four cases were ineffective in the treatment group. The cure rate was 3.33% and the total effective rate was 86.67%.In the control group, one case was cured, twelve cases were significantly effective, nine cases were effective, and eight cases were ineffective. The cure rate was 3.33%,and the total effective rate was 73.33%.After statistical analysis, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the press-needle group was better than that of the traditional acupuncture group.5.The monitoring of vital signs and other examinations of patients in the two groups were normal during treatment, indicating that the treatment methods in the two groups were safe.Conclusions:1.Both press-needle and traditional acupuncture therapy can reduce the total score of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),various scores and scores of TCM syndrome score scale in patients with insomnia of liver stagnation and fire syndrome, both can improve sleep.2.Compared with traditional acupuncture therapy, the treatment of insomnia with the syndrome of liver stagnation and fire by press-needle is more obvious in the aspects of improving sleep quality, hours of sleep, daytime dysfunction,TCM syndromes and clinical efficacy. However,it has no advantages in improving the total score of PSQI scale, sleeping time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorders. |
