Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of insomnia of both the heart and spleen deficiency treated by press needle at Sihua point combined with routine acupuncture and to seek the best treatment for that.Method:Sixty insomniacs who met the requirements of enrollment were divided into two groups according to random number table.In the control group,30 cases were treated with routine acupuncture for 30 minute,while in the treatment group,30 cases were treated with press needle of Sihua point on the basis of the control group,and bilateral Geshu and Danshu points were selected for 2 4 hours.Both groups were treated once a day,one day a week,two weeks as a course of treatment,a total of two courses.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and TCM Symptom Scale(TCM Symptom Scale)were scored before and after treatment.Consequence:1.After treatment,the total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%,and that of the treatment group was 90.00%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05)fwhich proved that the treatment group had better effect on insomnia.2.In Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score comparison,two groups of patients after treatment group after treatment compared with before treatment(p<0.05)fthe difference was statistically significant,the treatment group was also better than the control group(p<0.05).3.By comparing the scores of TCM Syndrome Scale,there was significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Press needle at Sihua point combined with routine acupuncture can improve the sleep quality of insomnia patients,and the clinical efficacy is obvious.2.On the basis of routine acupuncture combined with press needle at Sihua point treating the insomnia of both the heart and spleen deficiency is superior to treating by simple routine acupuncture.
