| Objective: The aim of this study is to provide an objective evaluation of the clinical efficacy of this study through the observation of the efficacy of self-prepared antipyretic soup in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm-heat congestion, and to provide new ideas and evidence-based evidence for the further development of the clinical treatment of community-acquired pneumonia with Chinese medicine. Methods: Eighty patients with community-acquired pneumonia with sputum-heat congestion who met the inclusion criteria and were willing to participate in this study were enrolled in the study from September 2022 to March 2023 in the inpatient department of the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Changde First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The control group was given conventional Western medicine treatment of anti-infection,cough and sputum control, maintenance of hydrolyte balance and symptomatic treatment. The TCM symptom scores, temperature stabilization time, clinical lung infection scores, laboratory indices, lung inflammatory lesion aspiration and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The SPSS 26.0 software was used to monitor the status of the patients. The information was compiled and analyzed by the SPSS 26.0 statistical software. Results: Eighty patients were enrolled in the study, and eight were screened out of the group due to withdrawal or decompensation during the treatment process.1.Before starting treatment, the two groups of patients were compared in terms of gender, age, duration of illness, time to temperature stabilization, febrile pulmonary fever medication symptoms, white blood cell count, neutrophil absolute value, serum C-reactive protein, serum calcitonin level, and clinical pulmonary infection(CPIS)score(P > 0.05).2.At the end of the treatment period, the Chinese medicine symptom scores of the two groups were compared: the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P < 0.05);3.3.Comparing the temperature stabilization time, white blood cell count, absolute neutrophil value, serum C-reactive protein, serum calcitonin level and clinical pulmonary infection(CPIS)score between the treatment group and the control group: the improvement in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The overall effectiveness rate of clinical efficacy in the treatment group(89%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(75%)(P < 0.05).(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Self-formulated antipyretic soup was effective in combination with conventional Western medicine conventional therapy and Western medicine conventional therapy alone in the treatment of patients with CAP with phlegm-heat congestion in the lungs. The treatment group was significantly more effective than the control group in shortening the time to temperature stabilization, improving the TCM symptoms and signs score and CPIS score, lowering laboratory indices, and promoting the absorption of inflammatory exudate lesions in the lungs. The combination of self-prepared antipyretic soup and Western medical treatment is not only effective in alleviating the clinical symptoms of sputum-heat congestion in patients with acquired pneumonia in the community, but also has no significant adverse drug effects during the treatment process, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
