Comparison Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Brain-awakening Acupuncture And Conventional Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Constipation Based On The Brain-gut Axis Theor

Objective:Through the clinical research of constipation patients after stroke,comprehensively evaluate the clinical efficacy of “Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture in the main treatment of post-stroke constipation,and provide more information for the clinical treatment of constipation after stroke.Methods:60 patients with post-stroke constipation were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were treated on the basis of stroke symptomatic treatment and rehabilitation treatment.The treatment group was treated by “Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture,while the control group was treated by conventional acupuncture,and both groups were treated once daily,for 6 consecutive days a week and 1 day rest for 2 weeks(12 times in total).By observing and recording the changes of the Clinical Score Scale(CCS),the Bristol stool form scale(BSFS),National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)in the two groups before and after,to evaluate the improvement of constipation after stroke by two methods.Resluts:1.Comparison of CCS scores and BSFS scores between the two groups: After treatment,the CCS scores and BSFS scores of the two groups of patients were statistically significant than those before treatment(P<0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups had effects,but the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Comparison of NIHSS scores between the two groups: After treatment,the NIHSS scores of the treatment group of patients was significantly lower than this before treatment(P<0.05),but the NIHSS scores of the control group was not(P>0.05).After treatment,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group had effects,the control group hadn’t.3.Comparison of overall curative effect between the two groups: After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%;the total effective rate of the control group was 76.7%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two groups of treatment methods were effective in treating post-stroke constipation,but The overall curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:“Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture as the main treatment and conventional acupuncture treatment can both improve the CCS score,BSFS score,and NIHSS score of constipation patients after stroke.“Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture is better than conventional acupuncture,suggesting that “Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture can improve its clinical efficacy,and can be applied in clinical practice.
