Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture For Dysphagia Of Pseudobulbar Palsy After Stroke

Objective The main aim of the study is to investigate the clinical effect of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method in treating dysphagia caused by pseudobulbar palsy after stroke and to provide a theoretical basis for the study of the dysphagia after pseudobulbar palsy after stroke.Methods Sixty patients of pseudobulbar palsy who were diagnosed as stroke were included in the study.All of the above patients were from Department of Neurol ogy and Rehabilitation Medicine inpatient department of Shanxian Central Hospital(included in the period from June 2016 to June 2017).Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,swallowing functional t herapy instrument group and comprehensive treatment group(Xingnao Kaiqiao acu puncture method combined with swallowing functional therapy instrument),there are30 cases in each group.All patients were given swallowing functional training and basic clinical treatment of stroke.Swallowing functional therapy group was given only German Physiomed VOCASTIM-MASTER swallowing treatment device,the c omprehensive treatment group was given Xingnao Kai qiao acupuncture method therapy on this basis,in which acupuncture therapy acupuncture treatment five tim es a week(Monday to Friday),Swallowing function therapy instrument treatme nt once a day,the three groups were treated for a total of three weeks.Due to po or response swallow function therapy instrument group was removed in 2 cases,th e final selection of 28 cases.Because of recurrent cerebral infarction the comprehen sive treatment group was excluded 1 patient,and finally selected 29 cases.Before treatment and 3 weeks after treatment,the two fixed,non-participating physicians carried out the Kubota drinking water test,SSA,Japan dysphagia scale and other tests on the selected patients within 24 hours.The swallowing function was evalu ated,and the data were statistically analyzed and compared by statistical software.Results(1)There were no significant differences between the two groups in the evaluation of swallowing function therapy and Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method therapy before and after the treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05);(2)After 3 weeks of treatment,the two groups of patients were compared within the group of Kubota drinking water test scores,SSA scores,dysphagia classification scale scores,swallowing ability of both groups were improved(P <0.05).After treatment,the comprehensive treatment group Kubota drinking water test,SSA,dysphagia grading scale score was significantly higher than the swallowing functional therapy group,the comprehensive treatment group and swallowing functional therapy instrument group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);(3)During the study,no significant adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion Swallowing functional therapy(Physiomed VOCASTIM-MASTER,Germany)and Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method combined with swallowing functional therapy,both of which can effectively improve swallowing function in patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke.Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method combined with swallowing functional therapy instrument integrated treatment programs can also help to improve the patient’s swallowing function,with excellent efficiency.
