| Under the backdrop of global warming,forest combustibles continue to accumulate,and many areas have already reached the threshold for severe wildfires.The rapid development of ecotourism and the forest-based economy brings even greater challenges to fire source management.Forest fire prevention and suppression work is confronted with new challenges.Only by thoroughly understanding the potential risks of forest fires and accurately delineating fire-prone prevention and control areas can we carry out forest fire prevention and suppression work in a targeted manner.Therefore,this research focuses on the Hui Chuan District of Zunyi City.According to the evaluation indicators in the technical specifications for forest fire surveys,we can utilize the secondary platform of the National Forest and Grassland Fire Risk Survey Platform to extract 36 forest fire risk factors for calculation.By doing so,we can establish a forest fire risk assessment system.Field surveys,data sharing,mathematical statistics,and literature analysis were used to assess forest fire hazards,risks,disaster reduction capabilities,key hidden dangers,and prevention and control zoning.The Arc GIS software was used for image overlap to obtain the forest fire prevention and control zoning map of Hui Chuan District,and corresponding countermeasures were proposed for different prevention and control investment levels in different areas.The main research results are as follows:(1)The high-risk areas are distributed in Shanpen,Zhima,Maoshi,Songlin,Shawan,Sidu,Tuanze,Gaoping,and Banqiao,while the medium-low-risk areas are distributed in Gaoqiao and Donggongsi,and the low-risk areas are distributed in Shanghai Road,Xima Road,and Dalian Road,accounting for 93.6%,5.49%,and 0.91% of the total area of Hui Chuan District,respectively.(2)The medium-high-risk areas are distributed in Shanghai Road,Gaoqiao,Donggongsi,Tuanze,Banqiao,Shawan,Shanben,Zhima,Maoshi,and Songlin.The medium-risk areas are distributed in Gaoping,the medium-low-risk areas are distributed in Sidu,and the low-risk areas are distributed in Xima Road and Dalian Road,accounting for 79.73%,12.13%,7.59%,and 0.55% of the total area of Hui Chuan District,respectively.(3)The medium-disaster reduction areas are distributed in Xima Road,Donggongsi,Gaoping,Banqiao,Shawan,Shanben,and Maoshi,while the medium-low-disaster reduction areas are distributed in Shanghai Road,Gaoqiao,Dalian Road,Zhima,Songlin,Tuanze,accounting for 63.01% and 36.99% of the total area of Hui Chuan District,respectively.(4)There are no key hidden dangers of forest fires in the entire district.(5)The second-level prevention and control investment areas are distributed in Shanghai Road,Gaoqiao,Donggongsi,Banqiao,Shawan,Shanben,Maoshi,Zhima,Songlin,and Tuanze,while the third-level prevention and control investment areas are distributed in Dalian Road,Gaoping,and Sidu,and the fourth-level prevention and control investment areas are distributed in Xima Road,accounting for 79.73%,19.92%,and 0.35% of the total area of Hui Chuan District,respectively.(6)According to the zoning results,corresponding prevention and control measures were proposed.For forest fire prevention and control measures in township units,second-level prevention and control investment areas and third-level prevention and control investment areas should strengthen the disposal of fuels,pay attention to fire source management and fire prevention propaganda,strictly control fire sources,reduce the number of wild fire sources,improve monitoring and warning stations,forest roads,and barrier nets,increase the number of forest rangers,improve forest fire monitoring and warning capabilities,and engineering defense capabilities.For fourth-level prevention and control investment areas,forest vegetation should be cleared and combustibles should be removed,and firefighting equipment should be updated to improve emergency response.Through this study,the distribution of forest fire hazards,comprehensive risks,disaster reduction capabilities,key hidden dangers,and prevention and control zoning in the Huichuan District of Zunyi City was obtained.Moreover,prevention and control recommendations were proposed for different administrative units and different prevention and control areas.This is significant importance in improving forest fire prevention and suppression efforts in the research area and reducing the occurrence and impact of forest fires. |
