| Wood carving has become a mainstream form of expression in the contemporary sculpture creation environment,and the diversity of its language allows artists to have more choices in their creation.Emotional expression has always been the pursuit of artists in their creation,and when appreciating a work of art,its material selection,modeling techniques and color matching will become important factors affecting the generation of emotions.Taking the emotional expression in the properties of wood ontology and the emotional expression of wood carving in different formal languages as the main research purpose,this paper argues through the analysis of ideas and examples,and clarifies the integration of personal emotions in the creative process of artists and the influence of audiences on the appreciation of works with personal emotions.In the ontological properties of wood,the human,natural and physical properties of wood materials are studied and analyzed,and it is clarified that emotions are affected by changes in the color,texture,form,and intensity of wood.In the modeling language of wood carving,the two modeling languages of direct carving and mortise and tenon splicing are used as examples to illustrate the important role played by emotion in the creative process.In the color language of wood carving,the importance of color to the emotional expression of the artist’s work is taken as the starting point of research,and the argument is completed by listing the artist and his works.Finally,the recombination and reconstruction of waste wood and abandoned wood is used to analyze the transformation,continuation and regeneration of emotions. |
